Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Gregory Stout 65 I bought my Gregory Stout 65 about a month ago and have been able to use it on a couple 10 day long hikes on the AT. I love this bag because of its lightweight and comfort. It really sits nicely on my hips and I just forget that I'm carrying anything until I have to reach for my water. That's the only problem... I can't reach my water so I have to carry a small bottle in the hip belt pocket. I'm going to get a water bladder since there is a pocket for one. Other than that love this pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value for a multiday pack Have not had a chance to take this out yet, but once I do I'll give some updates. Here are my intial thoughts,,,,Pros,, - One of the lighter packs I've had, and comfy for me when packed,, - The U zip access to the main compartment is very handy, and makes packing sleeping bag convenient,, - Exterior clips at bottom of pack allow for sleeping pad attachment,, - Lots of exterior pockets for storing and organizing,, - raincover fits perfectly and does not take up too much pack space,, - pack overall is streamline and not too bulky,,,,,,Cons,, - Wish one of the side pockets had stretchable mesh. They are a little rigid and not terribly versatile. ,, - The integrated day pack is nothing to write home about, it will get the job done though,,,,It's not the fanciest of packs, but my initial impression is that it's a really good value from a respected company. It's not bogged down with the special features of some of the more expensive packs and It will get the job done.
