The Icebreaker Women's Siren Tank is a merino wool tank top for summertime hikes and naps in the hammock. The soft and stretchy fabric is made from a Corespun blend of merino wool and nylon, with elastane. Designed as an underwear layer, you can layer a tee or long sleeve over top, or just wear it to bed. Regardless of what you're doing, it'll regulate your body temperature year round.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware Have been wearing Icebreaker tank tops for many and can only say that 100% merino wool is great especially in hot and tropical climates. Not sure why Icebreaker decided to add all kinds of materials to the merino that contrary to the product description is not breathable and tend to smell. I bought every tank top in every color as long as it was from previous 100% batches, but now everything is out of stock. Wish Icebreaker would go back to the quality product it once produced, since it is the only thing i have been wearing for fitness and leisure. Very disappointing to see the company use terrible material!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good customer service I thought this was a great, comfortable tank which seemed to hold up well with the winter runs that I was subjecting it to - I could wear it a few times with no odor issues and it provided the right amount of extra warmth. Unfortunately, mine may have had a manufacturing flaw as after just a few washs and being worn maybe 10 times total it got a hole that was not from normal wear....I contacted customer service and they replaced the item fairly quickly. I am told that they are making some improvements to this line, introducing a smal amount of a synthetic to increase durability. Overall, a positive experience with Icebreaker and I remain confident in their product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Base Layer! I had been searching for a good wool base layer tank & am pretty happy w this one! I ordered both a sm & XS & would order down a size for a slim fit. Why I love it: it’s slim, comfortable, & can literally be worn from my sweaty bike commute to my work attire without a funk (that in itself is worth its weight in gold). What I wish for it: These are very light weight (which makes them so versatile), but the light color ones are completely see-though. I wish these were a tank I could wear throughout the seasons (peak minimalism!), not just under another shirt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from "itchie, itchie, ya-ya, here" I have been buying the Siren tanks for years. They can be an excellent underlayer year-round. Buy up one size if you want to wear them alone, because this batch seems tighter than previously. Something has changed with the quality of the wool or the way the wool is spun, because this batch is very itchy, unlike previous versions. I did not discover how itchy they were until I had cut the tags off and was wearing one for about 15 minutes. Maybe that will go away, but I've handwashed them several times and they're still really itchy. Historically, the first Sirens were great, when they were all wool. Then there were a couple of years when they got blended with nylon and they became too thin and tore easily. Then they were good again, except after about a year the nylon gave up and they looked hairy. I keep buying and trying them, hoping they'll be perfect again. These aren't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wool With Sex Appeal... Fantastic tank, a bit thin so don't expect to be able to whare just the tank in summer cuz its pretty see thru. But perfect for a base layer. Funny story... My mom got me two of these for Christmas and the current slogan on the packaging is "Wool with sex appeal" so when I make the first tear into the wrapped present all I see "sex app" the look on my face was one of complete and utter terror. My mom just starts laughing, as do I after I get up the courage to open the present the rest of the way. LOL! Merry Christmas!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Daily Driver [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most days I wear this tank, it's a great baselayer that is wearable under most garments. These tanks have a versatile neckline, versus a racerback style tank which would be harder to wear under scoop/vneck garments. Normally, I wear an xs in icebreaker, I purchase these in a size small so I'm able to wear them like a normal tank top. I suggest purchasing one size larger than your normal size for comfort. Darker colors are opaque, lighter colors (ex.snow) work better underneath other garments. I wash my wool separate from anything rough (zippers, jeans, hook closures,etc) and hang to dry. I've not had any holes, etc in the last year-1.5 years of owning these tanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these tanks! I bought one of these in the fall in the charcoal gray color, and loved the fit and feel on cooler, but not cold days here in Colorado. Great light layer under clothing for casual everyday and for hiking in mild climate. (when the weather is cold/snowy, I use longer, thicker Icebreaker layers) The Snow and Fawn Heather colors were out of stock in my size at the time, so I waited via email alerts for the opportunity to purchase again....it was worth the wait! Comfortable and just enough cozy when I don't need the full lining. I plan to use them when the weather warms up in the summer! Probably will need a couple more pairs when that time comes

When I was first trying it on, I was worried it was too tight, but as I pulled the shirt down over my torso, I realized the shirt was fitted... tight where it looks the nicest but with ample room in the chest area, making this one flattering tank top. I'm a fairly modest dresser and like to have all the basics covered. With this tank, I feel sexy without showing too much, and in hot weather where sleeves are not the preference, this tank can go from the beach to the bar. The wool does what wool does best: wicks away sweat and odors. This might be my new favorite shirt.
