Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Windproof + Moisture Control! I’m an ultramarathoner and I have a few other wind shells, but in heavy activity they can sometimes trap moisture. The result is that I’m wet and dehydrating myself. This jacket is great because of the breathability. It has all the pros of being windproof, but due to excellent design choices it also breathes. There are mini-vents built in to the jacket itself and the light wool in strategic places is such an awesome idea. Wool is natural, incredibly odor resistant and highly breathable. It is literally designed by nature to wick away moisture and dry out fast. Plus, with Smartwool you can rest-assured that you are also purchasing an ethical, durable, “smart” product built to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for that in between weather. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use this product in the spring outside working in the garden or doing any chores outside when it's a little cooler. I plan to use it in cooler runs as well and possibly in the rain for runs. It feels like you don't have a jacket on, super light and stops the wind and keeps the chill off. Super comfortable. If it gets too warm, you can take it off and carry it or stuff it in a pocket, it's so light, you won't even know it's there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'll keep it but it's not lined. Collar only. I like the jacket but was disappointed it had no lining. Too advertise as a wool product is deceptive. I would be thrilled at one fourth the price. Again I'll keep it, but lesson learned as it will be the last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely Lightweight Bought this as an outer shell for going on hikes where a t-shirt wasn't quite enough. What else is great is that I can completely fold the entire thing into its right pocket, for convenient storage. I wouldn't really say the jacket is merino, though, as there are only three spots with merino, and it's both arm pits and right below the back of the neck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not water resistant. This jacket was sold as at least water resistant. It's not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight jacket excellent, lightweight, form fitting jacket. Smooth polyester type material with additions of Smartwool on the back and under armpits and a few other areas for soft, comfortable feel.
