Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective

Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.

Columbia Omni-Tech
The waterproof, windproof and breathable technology for getting outdoors in wet and windy conditions. Your body heat escapes while rain can't come inside. Sorta magical, but mostly just science.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard for my 7 yr old to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this jacket, but my 7 yr old son has a really hard time using it. The fleece liner keeps getting pulled out and stuck when he puts his arms in and takes them out. There is a snap that holds the arms of the liner to the arms of the shell but we needed one more snap or a way to hold them together in a better way. The arms keep coming out and it’s impossible for him to get them to go back in. Teachers at school have asked that we supply him with a different jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super jacket This is the fourth time I’ve bought this jacket for my son. It’s always been stellar, warm, waterproof, everything you need in a kid’s ski jacket. However, this one wasn’t as big a hit. This one had a detachable hood. No big deal except that it attaches with only three snaps and there are huge gaps at the back of the next that let the wind blow right in. Not good when you’re trying to stay warm. Still, I can’t knock the quality of the jacket or how well it performs otherwise. We will still buy this jacket as the kids keep growing, as there’s no better value in my opinion, but will have to pay more attention to the hood next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from snoboard trip review [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a great product! I've loved my omni-heat jacket for 2 years now, so I was excited to see this in snowboard pants/jackets for my son. he absolutely loved it and only had 1 long base layer on while snowboarding in mid-20's weather. When it dipped to teens/low 20's on the last day he needed an extra shirt for warmth. he also really likes the removable jacket (didn't have that in while on the mountain) and it looks sharp. Just FYI the jacket doesn't have a snow-skirt and it doesn't attach to the pants. it was long enough & shaped in a way that he only got snow up the jacket once with a big wipe out in powder

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grammy guessed right!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this for my grandson and wasnt sure on the size, I buy him a new winter coat every 2 years so it has to be alittle big at first, I guessed at the size but I was right on. Alittle big around and in the sleeves, I love the quality of Columbia coats. I think everyone should invest in one!!! They are very versatile. Light weight too. I always recommend these coats to everyone. The guarantee helps alot too!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems good We went to the store and tried on jackets. Found one we liked but they didn’t have his size instore. Can’t order online because they don’t carry the same jackets I store as they do online. And I store coat he needed youth xl but this one he needed a med. so fit was also very different. What a pain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I really like this jacket for my 6 year old. It is warm and the waterproof exterior is nice. The only thing I would change is the hood. It is attached via 3 or 4 buttons instead of with a zipper. The zipper would have been better to keep the wind out.
