Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returned--these shoes are no longer the shoes they once were So sad to discover that this product has been re-designed to the point that it is no longer the same shoe. The front toe box is way too big and the back of the shoe is completely redesigned and is now hard and stiff and hurts the back of the heel to just take a few steps in. In addition, the shoe laces wouldn't even tighten up the shoe. While the first re-design of this shoe was also disappointing (the toe box too big)--I could at least wear the shoe in comfort. Now the toe box is even bigger! Good-bye Ahnu hiking shoes. You were once great and my only go-to for active-wear shoes for nearly 10 YEARS. Now I'll have to be off to find another brand. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really different to the pair I bought two years ago I have worn my previous pair of these boots nearly every day since the day I bought them two years ago. Those were immediately comfortable and very durable, but these new ones feel stiff and not cut the same way as the previous pair so they don't fit well. I was told when I called customer service that the stiffness mentioned in other comments has to do with a more durable sole, but there is more to it than that. The overall good feel is gone and there are obvious differences in the way it's cut. I'm so sorry not to be able to replace those great previous pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable shoe! This is my first pair of Ahnu and I am so pleased. I had been wearing the same brand of shoe (which I won't mention) for years thinking there was nothing better for me. Well, I was wrong. The Ahnu has all of the features I need for comfort. The laces are easily adjusted and stay tight. The shoe is very light but sturdy and well constructed and the most important, for me, the toe box has plenty of room so my foot never feels constricted (sometimes a problem in womens shoes). It is a good looking, well made product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I don't understand the change in quality This is like my 6th pair of these shoes. I buy at least one pair a year for work and hiking, but since Teva took over the Ahnus, the quality has changed. I don't understand why the lining isn't fabric anymore. I feel like they used to be more breathable and now they feel stiff and sweaty. The inner edge feels like it's going to be more blister prone. I normally wear these as my daily work shoes so after so many years I developed a callous and normally no longer worry about blisters, but so far I'm not impressed with this new Teva design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have bought this hiking shoe again and again. I wear it for hiking all levels of mountain trails. It's the most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever worn. Having tried many other brands and styles of hiking shoes and boots, I always return to this one, buying a new pair every year, which is about how long they hold up with my daily wear. It is sturdy but not heavy, and it's also attractive enough to wear off trail to run errands when you want total foot protection. The color on-screen seems a bit brighter than the actual color, but it's still a beautiful shade of blue. Get compliments on the color and look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very stabilizing. I am 79 years old, and get a lot of exercise gardening. These shoes are the best I've found for stabilizing my admittedly weak feet, ankles, and knees when I am working on hillsides. Not nearly as fatigued as with other shoes. I ordered a size up, and added Profoot Miracle Custom Molding Insoles, and use padded Thorlo socks. Walking on air!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AWFUL. DO NOT BUY I Cannot express how frustrated and disappointed I am in these shoes. I have bought multiple pairs of the previous model - Montara II. They were the most comfortable show i had ever found. These however are like a cheap, hard, uncomfortable knockoff. DO NOT BUY! They are using cheaper material. Have less padding. And the customer service is sub-par as well. I would not recommend purchasing anything from them. I certainly won't be ever again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute but narrow I'm a hiker and have worn Tevas in the past. This particular shoe is adorable and feels sturdy, however, I found them to be too narrow for my feet and about half a size too short even sized up. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in a street shoe so I ordered a 9 in these as I size up for my hikers, but these still felt like they would have been too narrow even if I had sized up another half size. I returned them. Super cute if they fit!
