Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpacking chair. It's a little tipsy (but it stands low to the ground) and will blow away in a gentle breeze, but outside of that there is nothing but upside to this chair. ,,,,I love backpacking and camping but I have a bony butt and the last thing I need to cure my sore legs is a sore rump. I pack this every time I go out, no matter where I go or for how long. It packs so small and light, and it's worth so much to my attitude that I never even consider not taking it.,,,,It is incredibly light and super easy to take apart and put back together. It packs up small enough that if you wanted to stuff it in the side pocket of, say, an Osprey pack, you could easily do that. It is made of top notch materials and constructed in the same spirit. I watched a youtube video of this product and that was enough to get me to buy it. It is a steep price, to be sure, but it pays dividends on multi-day hikes. ,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great chair One of the problems when backpacking is what the heck do you sit on. Purists are resort to a damp log or lumpy rock, but for those willing to carry it, the Mantis offers backcountry luxury,,,,pros:,,-Very Comfortable,,-Provides some back support,,-Solid construction,,-elevated off the ground,,,,cons:,,-still much heavier than a foam pad,,-hard to get in and out of,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Chair I purchased this chair as a gift. It's great! Small and compact, yet comfortable! Better than some of the other compact chairs I've tried. I am definitely purchasing another for myself!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight camping chair that comes in purple. So this packs up easily, is easy to assemble, doesn't weigh a lot and looks super pretty. What else do you want in life? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for a little luxury I bought two of these to take on a short hiking/camping trip into the woods with my son. While not a necessity, it was a nice luxury. They are reasonably light. They are a nice to sit around on while tending a fire or cooking on a stove on the ground. They are a little tippy. While our chairs never broke, we played it safe and never got rough with them. Let’s be honest, I’m not going to spend that much on gear to put it through an unnecessary torture test. Overall, they are just a chair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built chair that bets the heck out of setting on the ground. Ok so I look at it this way, if you've got taller more cushy sitting options this little puppy will stay in the bag. If your miles from a decent chair and the ground, rocks, or logs are your only options, then this thing is the freaking bomb. It's just as advertised and worth every penny. Well designed, well built, comfortable, chair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upping our picnic game Got a pair of these to stay off the ground when enjoying a beverage down by the river. And they do that! Pack up pretty small, comparable to similar style low-profile chairs. Easy to assemble and pack up. Great chair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
