Rated 2 out of 5 by from Toe Box Too Narrow for Neuroma Sufferers Several years ago, I found Altra when looking up shoes to wear with Morton's neuromas. I had almost given up running due to the near constant pain from my shoes, but the extra room in the toes made all the difference. I usually wear Torins, but decided to try a different model. The Provision is a nice looking shoe, but after wearing them on 3 runs, I was waking up at night with pain in my feet from the neuromas again. I measured the toe box and the Provision is 1/4" more narrow than the Torin 4. It doesn't sound like much, but that 1/4" is the difference I need to be able to run without pain. Unfortunately, the Provisions are going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed I came to Altra because they had been recommended for the wide toe box. The first pair I ordered, the solstice xt, had a super roomy toe box but was lacking in arch support. So I returned them and ordered these because they were a more supportive shoe. While I can say that the arch support was much better and shoe was cushy, the toe box was soooooo small. Smaller then any other sneaker I have ever purchased. This shoe is so narrow that at least half my pinky toe was hanging off the side. Seems from other reviews that they were bought out and changed the design of some of their shoes. Such a shame because people who don't need the toe room can literally buy any other shoe from any other brand. These are going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with the updated version - please bring back 3.5 I just went for a walk and could only make it .6 miles before I had to stop and take these shoes off. They make my socks ride down and make my left foot feel like something is in the shoe under the ball of my foot/numb. I never write reviews but I feel this is much needed so hopefully the 3.5 or something comparable will return. I would give this shoe a 2 or 3 star if I could wear it and not workout in it, but I honestly think I wasted my money because I can't handle the shoe on my foot. Maybe it's because it runs smaller than the previous shoe does but I've had 4 pair of the 3.5 with no issue so I ordered the same size in this version and it's definitely smaller. On the plus side, the shoe is a nice looking shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! I decided to try the Provision 4 as a back-up for my Altra Torins. I needed just a little bit more support than I had in the Torin. Mostly I'm a neutral runner with few mechanical problems with knees and feet, with the exception of an old injury that needs some shoring up. For me, the Provision 4 is the answer to that problem. I went for a 7+ mile run in them, today, right out of the box. I still get the benefit of the zero drop, while having just enough support to keep feeling great on longer runs. I would definitely recommend these to Altra fans, or anyone else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Knee tracking well, overpronation support, running faster! This shoe was a big change from my previous Asics recommended to me at a running shoes store. I was having knee tracking issues and wanted to lessen the drop of the shoes I was wearing. Zero drop definitely feels different at first and my Achilles and calves needed to get used to working more, but since that these shoes have been a blessing! Super light weight and with enough cushion my pace has increased and my feet feel one with the shoe! The arch bar on the instep is great for my overpronation as well. Knee issues gone and running faster than ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe! After years of backpacking and lots of walking, my feet have flattened and developed some issues. This shoe (with toe socks) allows my toes to spread and keeps my heels stable. I like the supportive lacing system and it worked great for me. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot, and these shoes seem to help a little with that - it's just going to take time and patience in that department. These shoes have held up well to daily miles and repeated washing. I am going to buy two more pairs. My only wish is that there were some different colors, but other than that I definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The InnovArch is a GAME CHANGED I've been wearing Altras for three years after wearing Brooks for over a decade and loved the Provision 3. I was excited to read about the InnovArch and it's been a game changer for me. I can feel my foot muscles being activated when I wear these shoes and believe they're more responsive than the Provision 3s. Try a half size up from your regular Altra size. I found the toe box way too narrow/the length too short in my regular size, but the half size up solved that. I would re-lace the sneakers before you first take them out. Additionally the tongue doesn't really stick it - it operate best when it lays completely flush against the foot and the edge aligning with the collar. All in all, I'm excited to log some miles in these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My flay feet love these shoes!! I usually wear hokas but after lossing 50 lbs my foot just didnt fit them anymore. My shoe lady recommended these to me since i weight lift a lot. These are game changers for extremely flat feet. My hips feel great, my arches dont hurt, and i didnt need insoles to wear them! I can acually run in these too! Love them when my walking shoes go out i will be buying these to replace them as well! My foot pain is gone too which is something i didnt think could happen. The unique style and shape really make these shoes wonderful and i love that work for everything in the gym. I never have to switch shoes at the gym bc of the "flatness" of the shoe my leg day is killer.
