Features of the Astral Men's Rover Shoe

BALANCED GEOMETRY: Level footbed and a wider toe-box allow feet to be in their natural position for excellent balance and proper biomechanics. Foot to ground distance is 17mm heel, 16mm ball.
QUICK DRYING: Our years of experience building shoes for river guides gave us the skills to perfect the art of making shoes that dry fast.
RV OUTSOLE: Engineered for excellent grip on hard surfaces, with extra attention to edging. Works well on scree, pavement, bike pedals and skate decks.
G.SS: This G Rubber compound is formulated for premium grip while also providing excellent abrasion resistance. Its low durometer means the rubber is softer and therefore conforms well to the ground.

Material Details

UPPERS: Vegan Suede perforated toe-cap, 100% recycled, breathable and quick-drying Polyester Canvas quarter panels, TPU protective heel overlay, Semi-rigid toe and heel counters
MIDSOLE: Compression Molded EVA foam is level at heel and ball, provides medium arch support.
OUTSOLE: G.ss high friction rubber with lug geometry focused on grip and durability for various outdoor pursuits. Non-marking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jimbo from Beware of the Rover [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased 5 styles of Astral shoes, and love everyone, EXCEPT the Rover. Getting blisters on two toes every time I've worn these (have only 18 miles of hiking on these) The design is not up to par with Astral. Very stiff, narrower, especially in toe box. They are comfortable to walk in, but cause major blisters due to the design on the front of the shoe, with a very rough edge on the toe bumper. Surprised to get such a subpar shoe from Astral, I have 4 other Astral shoes that are fantastic. Guess they tried a new design on these that doesn't work for me at all. I'm 5'10", 150lbs, were a size 11.
