Product Reviews
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Torn inner mesh lining. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I think this pack is nicely laid out, there are two things that disappointed me. The pack looks large, which is why I didn't go with the bigger 30L size, but it was very hard to pack enough in the pack, as it didn't expand outward very much. On one hand that gives it a more streamlined effect, but on the other hand, I couldn't get enough in it for a 1/2 day excursion. The other issue is that the inside mesh is torn just under the zipper large enough that the pocket zipper does not hold in the items. I had expected a higher quality bag and hate sending back items.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid pack for shorter tours [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a smaller, lighter pack than my older Avalung pack, one with a helmet sling and adequate space. This (mostly) fits the bill. Good storage for avy gear, a storable helmet sling, thoughtful zip pouch in the front compartment for tools, adequate storage for layers, snacks, and incidentals for spring tours or shorter trips, and it sits well, even on my small frame. The one con to an otherwise great pack is that the water bladder sits in front of the zip compartment in the main pouch if you use the two hooks at the top of the pouch to hang it. I do that because there's no dedicated bladder pouch like I've seen on other packs. Small beef, not a dealbreaker, since the pack ticks off so many of my other must-haves. Plus, it's a great color!
