The Big Agnes Air Core Ultra Sleeping Pad is a lightweight sleeping pad for warm weather adventure. Comfort through the night and light when hauling during the day, plus it won't break the bank when you're looking to build a setup. The 3.5" thick pad features larger chambers on the outer edges, cradling your body for more comfort in the middle of the mattress while you nap, snooze, sleep or just plain pass out. The durable nylon holds up to the use and abuse of the trail and a high volume valve makes inflation and deflation quick and easy.

The sleeping pad was comfortable, easy to inflate, and easy to deflate. I paid close attention when I first opened pad from stuff sack to see how it was folded. Once I deflated and refolded as it was originally packed, it easily fit into stuff sack.

I'm really pleased with my choice. It's really comfortable, it packs light, and it's super easy to inflate with the included inflation sack. Time to move on to something else to fret over, I guess...

I just had the chance to use it this past weekend. My only complaint is I wish I had gone with the longer one (but that’s on me). It’s easy to inflate, it comes with the bag to help you inflate it. It also has a separate valve to release all the air which allows you to compress it a lot easier than older models with a single valve.

But when I figured it out, how to inflate it, I was like OMG! I've backpacked since I was 16, I'm now, 61. Why hasn't anyone, ever come up with this idea, it's awesome. A tad noisy sleeping on it, but it's very comfortable at the end of they day. Bravo Big Agnes!!!

He loves it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ChuckyB from Good item, zero R factor [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it over a three day two night (32 degree temps at night) backpacking trip over 40 miles. Sleeps comfortably although my elbows hang off when on my back. Quick to inflate and deflate. My only dislike is the low R factor. Even with a zero degree rates sleeping bag, I felt cold from the ground. I’ll also note that I’m in Florida so the ground temps don’t go all that low. I’l I’m also a rather hot sleeper, so when I get a chill it is significant.

I figured a little short would be better then sleeping on the ground. Only my ankles hung over. My son was excited that after that weekend it became his. I love the Big Agnes air pads. Love the inflators that come with it, but the ultra inflator is even better.
