The Big Agnes Bird Beat SL3 Tent is one of the most versatile tents on the market. It’s a superlight camping tent with a DAC exoskeleton pole structure that maximizes tent space and strength. The external pole structure allows the poles and fly to be set up before clipping in the inner tent body. So you won’t get a tent full of rain if you are setting up in bad weather. Ready to pitch, there are pre-cut guylines and tensioners attached to the fly, as well as color-coded webbing and buckles. When the removable inner tent body is clipped into the tent fly, it creates a double wall, 3+ season tent. Or, you could set-up in shelter-mode without the inner tent body for maximum shelter volume and easy in/out access. If cot camping is your thing, these spacious and strong superlight backpacking tents feature exceptional living space for cot sleeping or those wanting more room than a traditional backpacking tent. There are two oversized fly vents for increased air flow and reduced condensation. Plus, there are media pockets located above the sleeping area, with earbud-cord routing for phones or other devices. This tent is great for group camping, or glamp-ing, or if you split up the weight, it would be great for backpacking too.

How is this tent on the beach in the Wind

Asked by: Windysand
Hey there, thanks for the question! That's really going to depend on how strong the wind in question is and how you have this shelter secured. Sand is a little more difficult for stability as you would most likely need to keep it weighed down rather than simply staking it down. I hope this information helps!

Does the tent have a bottom or floor?

Asked by: Tobcontinued
Hey there thanks for your question. The Bird Beak SL3 Tent from Big Agnes does have a tent portion with a bottom. I understand how the pictures are a little confusing. The fly can be set up by itself creating a breezy shelter or more importantly a dry spot to pitch the rest of the tent inside. That is the picture you see with the big open bottom. I hope this helps!
