The Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Ultra Sleeping Pad is a 3 season pad for a comfortable sleep. A 3.25" thick pack with outer chambers that boast 3.50" of thickness to nestle you in the center and keep you cozy through the night. Less rolling off the pad, more deep sleep. The THERMOLITE insulation inside, along with a heat reflective film, prevent heat loss by reflecting your own body heat back at you. Take that, cold ground. High volume valves make inflation and deflation fast and easy, especially when combined with the included pad inflation sack. A 4.5 R-value has been rated by a third-party and each pad itself has been inflated and tested in-factory as well to ensure quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Burly piece of gear that performed when needed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This big Agnes mat not only kept me warm on a cold fire detail in Glacier NP this summer, it helped get my boyfriend to safety when a tree fell on our tent while camping in the Linville gorge area, so YES I absolutely recommend it. We used the air core as a gurney dragging him over rocks and logs and used trekking poles slid underneath the mat to lift him into the vehicle. It held up when we needed it to and didn't even leak!! (We escaped with some fractures but were extremely lucky, beware scarlet oaks with heart rot and high winds)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable and easy to inflate [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this sleeping pad last month and I love it so much I'm buying another for my wife. It's surprisingly easy to inflate with the inflation sack and it's easy to deflate a little at a time to make it softer if you need to. I'm 6'4 210 lbs and I've slept better than ever on this pad. I like that it's thicker than most and it has the highest r value of any pads I've owned. My only complaint is that it's a little short for my height so my feet were dangling off the end. I'd like to see an option for taller people. Still 5 Star in my book

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely squeaky!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this beginning of September for a backpacking trip up in the Smokies. First experience with an air sleeping pad and it was disappointing. Totally comfortable but as someone who moves in their sleep it was impossible to get some rest. Every move I made resulted in squeaking noises that not only woke me up but woke up my entire tent. Sounds like a pool float out of water. I tried a few different levels of inflating it and unfortunately no dice. Reading reviews on camping forums it says that it needs to be "broken in" but at what cost?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Agnes Sleeping pad [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law and it's everything I had hoped for. The pad was very easy to inflate, it only took a dozen deep breaths to inflate it to max capacity. It was very comfortable to lay on and the length was perfect (I got the "long" version as I'm over 6' tall). The design is such that repositioning while laying on it did not make me feel like I was bottoming out at all. The material felt to be sturdy and it had enough texture to it that it didn't feel slippery. Deflation was a snap due to its large port and it rolled up, folded and fit perfectly back into the bag that came with it. I can't wait to take this on my next adventure.

Keeps you warm on cold ground, is very thick and comfy, easy to inflate and holds air well. A bit heavier than my pld nemo pad but overall it is still really light and compact. Can get a bit squeaky with movement, which is ita only real flaw. Would recommend for backpacking

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband loves the wide pad [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the normal width pad and love it, and my husband was super jealous, b/c his pad was mediocre in general compared to my Big Agnes. He sleeps on his side with one knee up, and always complains that he doesn't have enough room for that leg and his hip hurts. This pad is the best and solves all those issues.

Good thermal insulation index. Of the minuses, the included blower is just awful. and as if for manrivok and backpacking can be. Although there are better but more expensive options!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what i needed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect mattress for a large guy like me. I'm 6'5" 210lbs. Kept me warm and comfortable in the buffalo mountains in October. The temperatures weren't extreme but low 30's to upper 20's...and it did just fine.
