Rated 5 out of 5 by from Birkhead I've been wearing Birkenstock for 15 years. Dont waste your time with any other sandal. They have a (roughly) 2 year "beat the snot out of me" life span... thats like paying $4 a month for the most bad mamajamma sandal available. But wait, there's more... wear them to music festivals and you're guaranteed to get a freaky-deaky hippie chick that knows how to turn a back rub into the third chapter of the Kama Sutra in your tent just based on the fact that you have world class taste in footwear. I think I have sold you, if not... your not worthy anyways.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Runs HUUUGE [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my second pair of birks. I used to have the felt bottom straps on the Arizona’s and wore them nearly daily for 6+ years. Definitely recommend getting the full grain leather if you plan on buying and repairing your sandal to have it for a lifetime. Also ignore the sizing chart, it’s completely off. Either try these on in a store before you buy, or go down 2 sizes. For me it says an 8.5 is a 41, my correct size is a 39. They def take a lot to break in, especially with the leather upper, but once they do they feel like a custom shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I forget these aren't my feet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a little embarrassing, really. Sometimes I catch myself scratching the bottom of my Birk. You know, when you get that little itch right in your arch? With any other shoe I slip it off then scratch away. But with Birks, I don't know ... I just sort of forget they're not my foot. In fact, my feet feel more like themselves in Birks than barefoot. I don't even know how many pairs of Birkenstock Arizonas I've owned. All I know is that there will always be at least two pairs in rotation -- the ones on my feet, and the ones in my closet. Simply the most consistent, most reliable, and most comfortable footwear I've ever had the privilege of experiencing. Which reminds me, I need to update my funeral plan: "Bury me in my Birks".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems to fit looser than previous birks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of Birkenstock’s and I think my first pair was a bit better. The suede seems to fit looser than the regular leather. Obviously the suede is also more prone to water damage so you might want to plan ahead when wearing them out. Overall still a fairly high quality sandal but personally I do not care for the suede.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Feet Again!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these over a month ago after making a mistake and buying a cheaper and inferior competitors product. I tried to live with the other sandals but realized after getting blisters and a rash and starting to develop other foot issues that I made the wrong choice. I went back and bought the Birkenstock’s Arizona sandal and my feet can not be happier. The supple leather and conforming sole felt amazing on my feet. The adjustable straps helped fit me into my sandals perfectly. After a couple weeks wearing them the seemed to conform to my feet perfectly. My foot issues had disappeared completely. I will not purchase another sandal ever again. I will not subject my feet to anything but the heavenly feeling of wearing a Birkenstock!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic Birks that are just plain comfortable I bought these a month ago and after hesitating for years on whether or not they're just trendy or actually beneficial. Well, I pulled the trigger on the Tobacco Birks and they really help with sore tired feet. There's tons of wiggle room for toes, easy slide on/off capability, and despite what people think they look good with jeans, shorts, etc.,,Just make sure you get the right size! I normally wear 8.5s and the 41 has the perfect amount of room.,,Go ahead, get your comfort on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slip-On with Comfort and Style [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this new pair for a couple weeks now. It’s my second pair of Birks because these things can last a lifetime with proper care. When you need something a little more fashion savvy than some thong sandals, but more casual that dress shoes, these will pretty much work with anything. They literally mold to your feet overtime, so as long as you size right, they will eventually fit you like a perfectly worn in baseball glove. Just please don’t ruin these for everybody and wear them with socks. You’ll look like a clown.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable (even with walking a lot around town), with the bonus of being cute and waterproof. I was a little worried about the white color getting dirty, but they're easy to clean. I took off one star because I thought these were Regular width (it wasn't specified on the website), but they are actually Narrow. I normally wear a Regular width in Birkenstocks but the fit on these was still good.

• Before wearing your new Birkenstocks, put one hand under the toe and one under the heel, then flex the footbed a few times. This will initiate the break in period and will your help your new sandals feel comfy sooner.

• Open all straps and step into the footbed. Close the straps comfortably, leaving enough space to allow your feet the freedom of movement.

• For the first five or six times you wear your new footwear, limit the time to just a few hours. This allows your feet and body to gradually get used to the contoured arch support as well as the straps and buckles.
