Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good dual use pole I was looking for a pole to use at both the resorts and in the backcountry. I've had adjustable backcountry poles previously but I rarely used the adjustability feature. While traversing a steep pitch, if I need a shorter length, I take my hands out of the strap and hold the pole below the grip. There is a nice collar that prevents your hand from sliding down The break-away feature was also important for tree skiing. I've had other trigger grips that gave false releases. No such issues with these poles. The build quality is excellent. I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight workhorse poles! I love these poles! These poles are lightweight and a pleasure to ski with. The strong carbon fiber material is great for holding up to the rigors of ski patrol work like being crammed with mounds of equipment/ gear as well as getting ice junk off hill markings. I enjoy the raised junction on the upper 1/4 section of the shaft for a more secure hold when boot packing up a steep ascent & as an avalanche arrest option during ski cutting. I look forward to skiing with these workhorse poles for years to come!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best alpine poles EVER I am a ski patroller and during the course of ANY day am far harder on ski poles than recreational skiers. We use our poles to knock snow and ice off signs, rope lines, toboggans and more. Before finding these beauties, I used to go through 1-2 set of aluminum poles a season. These beauties take a beating, stay straight and are far lighter than the rental shop poles I’ve burned through previously. The basket size is perfect for on and off-piste terrain as well. I HIGHLY recommend these! Thanks, BD

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, strong, light, full of features Light weight full featured these ski poles are awesome. I'm not one to mess around with adjustable ski poles, who wants to wait for your partner to change pole heights on every slope angle change? Nah. Get the fixed ones in carbon and own it. These have releasable straps so if you catch a tree or worse case, buried, your arms aren't attached to an anchor. They also come with baskets that have little hooks so you can flip your binding climbing adjusters (high heels) and boom, no bending over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite pair of poles I already owned some Razor Carbon Pro Poles as I wanted something with a breakaway strap for safety and not dislocating my shoulder if I snag a basket on a branch. Turns out, I rarely adjust my pole length when touring and the swing weight with the adjusters and big baskets was a little heavier than perfect. The Boundary Carbon Poles are lighter, stronger and a swing weight that I don't even notice. Still have breakaway straps and a strap that is easy to slide a glove into. 5 Stars!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome poles Light with good rigidity for pushing uphill. Still holing up well too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight ski poles These are nice lightweight ski poles I use strictly for downhill, though they’d be great for backcountry too. I had feared I would break them as I can be overly aggressive when poling, but they’ve held up fine after a year of skiing, perhaps because only part of each pole is carbon. I like the tear-away straps too; they saved me once when I forgot to take my straps off when skiing trees.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These poles are crazy light and have been really strong through multiple falls on them. I chose these over the poles that adjust in length for strength. In the backcountry, I use a little nub to choke up on them and hold them lower. Easy to change baskets too.
