The Black Diamond Men's Alpine Light Pant is a wind resistant pant for moving fast in the mountains. The ultralight single weave fabric is a nylon and elastane blend, stretchy for movement and featuring a durable water repellent finish to shed light moisture. Wear them for the full adventure or pack 'em down into your pack for a back up when the weather gets cool or misty.

DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

The best hiking pants EVER[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is an experienced guide in the Weminuche and recommended these pants. We went for a two week back country trip. I wore them every day. I love the pockets and their placement. I felt comfortable that my medical information wouldn't slip out of the pocket. They were very light in warm weather and they were wind resistant as well. I especially liked their ability to stretch at the knees and buttocks. A favorite was the built-in belt. It is always uncomfortable to backpack with an accessory belt and the built-in belt is perfect. The drawstring cuffs are very helpful during tick season. I am a 33 waist 30 length and the large fit me best. I chose the curry brown color that looks sharp and didn't show a lot of dirt. The occasional spill of food on the pants dried up quickly and I could scrape it off without leaving a mark. These pants exceeded my expectations.

Fit my slender son[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for my son for a 3-week adventure camp. He is tall and slender and finding pants and shorts to fit in the waist has always been a problem. These pants are perfect! They fit him well and he likes the built-in belt, style, and color. Would definitely buy again!

Favorite Hiking Pants[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for every occasion. Hot or cold, rainy or dry, windy or calm. I own a pair in every color and they hands down THE BEST. Stretchy enough to tolerate all.kinds of activity without being baggy. Great pockets and professional enough to wear at work or play

Classic high quality[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Climbing with my daughter in the Gunks we got hammered in the rain, tough rock abrasion scrambles getting back and we went to dinner looking awesome with but a change of shirts and comfortable the whole time... well, wet, but comfortable. Great britches!

Nice pants[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pants for cable week ago and i feel it comfort light and nice look. Unfortunately this size of pants are a little bit tight for me. I suggest you try to pick one more size than other brands such as mammut etc..
