Potential for the perfect pantNice pant for climbing because it is constructed in a way that encourages high-step and drop-knee kind of climbing, if that makes sense. The materiel needs to be a little more durable though as I've only used them for a month and they already have some holes in the knees and thighs from scrapes on branches and edges. I imagine lots of butt-starts will wear out the seat next. The belt loops have had lots of threads come fraying out. All of that being said the crotch is bomb-proof and really well designed. Maybe reinforce those high wear areas with a thicker cotton somehow because this pant is outstanding.

Great Pants but far too Short-livedI got the credo pants about six months ago and thought this would be the pant to rule all pants. Ironically, as I was shopping for more Credo pants online to get one in every color and even a second pair in the mocha color, the Credo's I was wearing ripped at the back seam. I had noticed before that the material appeared much thinner along the back seam after I washed the pants and held them up to the light, but assumed they would last a good long while. This is the third pair of BD bottoms that have ripped in the same spot. I climb and slack line and do yoga in my BD apparel. I thought they were designed to withstand an active lifestyle. I definitely expect more than some months out of my gear.

Not as durable as I hopped coming from BDI got these pants a few days before a climbing trip to Zion and Red Rocks. After about 4-5 days of wearing these pants, I had 3 holes is very weird places. These pants are designed well for the most part. The belt system is nice, they fit and move well but the type of fabric/weave they used is not durable enough to be a climbing pant. These are more or less slacks you would wear to your brothers bar mitzvah

Clumsy DesignMe and my brother both received these pants as a christmas gift from our parents, these worked great the first few times, comfy to wear and affortable. This was until a week after we received them that the strap, which makes the pants tight around the legs snapped. We blamed it being a bad pair, got a new pair, and moved on. I thought nothing of it until today when I went climbing, my pants broke the exact same way. Me and my brother both did not pull the strap too hard, yet the badly put together design of the bottom of the pant broke. Dissapointing

Great climbing pant, not my favorite cut.All features work as advertised. Elastic cuffs are great, integrated belt is great, and I like the fabric, it flexed well with contorted bouldering moves. Overall great pant.
The cut was a little strange for me. I purchased a 28 and the waist seemed true to that size, and paired well with a clean slim leg. But they were tighter below my hips than my BD Anchor, Arc'teryx or Patagonia climbing pants. While I was able to get used to them, it feels constricting on my hip flexors. Also the thigh pocket is fine, and useable, but i wouldn't use it for anything bulky or fragile due to the tightness and position on the front of the leg.

Past Season’s Are SuperiorLoved these pants for a few years and own several pairs from 2018/19 season. While I must agree that that era had its own faults (not enough space in the crotch) the overall fit and functionality was top of the line. The stretch and slimmer fit were perfect on the 18/19 batch and garnered compliments on the wall and on the town. I replaced much of my climbing and hiking pants with 4 pairs of the Credos and still swear by them. However, I’m severely disappointed with this year’s line. I ordered the Dark Curry color (which is not yellow, like in the photos) and was shocked by the drastically different fit. They feel like parachute pants instead of the signature fit and feel I had grown accustomed to with the 18/19 line. The only pluses include: stretchy pockets, spacious crotch (the cost of loose pant legs and sloppy look) Hoping that BD can return the 18/19 style and fit with added roominess in the crotch area (don’t need the stretchy pocket space, but will do for now). That being said, I will use these as beaters for granite/sharp routes and problems. Regardless, looking forward to what BD has in store and remain a loyal customer for their consistent commitment to feedback and state-of-the-art engineering involved in their R&D processes. Cheers!

Thoughtful design, poor executionOn paper (or screen) this seems like the perfect climbing pant that climbs well, and isn't too goofy to wear outside the climbing scene, and this pant proves itself in those areas. However, the thoughtful features that make up this pant were not built well. In my case specifically, the built-in belt broke within two weeks of use while climbing, then one of the ankle keepers broke after a month. BD needs to improve the quality of this design features to make this a good pant.

ComfortableI've had these pants out several times, and like them a lot. Hipsters beware: there's enough room in the crotch and legs to allow for free movement. The built-in belt is less of a pain than most, and looks to be sturdy. The only defect is in the elastic cuff adjuster thingys. One already came off....not that I had any use for it.
