The Black Diamond Women's Session Suede Shoe is a performance shoe that is just as ready for the trail as they are the city streets. Grippy BlackLabel-Street rubber is plenty sticky to scramble your way through the approach and make it to the crag before switching shoes to climb. The premium suede upper molds to your foot through general wear, making them distinctly yours through the adventure. Protective rubber kicks rocks off to the side and a molded EVA midsole offers comfort throughout the long days. Feet tired post-climb? Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic These are phenomenal street shoes: great grip, easy on/off, good fit, good styling. They also work for easy approaches, hiking trails and pedaling. A few gripes: you aren’t going to be climbing anything real in these, so the lack of support is annoying and will hurt on pavement if you don’t add an insole. The laces are not optimal. These are like boat shoes: set and forget. So having bunny ear loops flopping around is annoying. Maybe shorter laces and a toggle would be better? Finally, the suede is comfy, but gets filthy and is hard to clean. Buy grey ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty cool lil shoesies they start out pretty tight but will loosen up a bit. grippy for sure and have the basic structure of a minor climbing shoe. the slide in detail is super helpful when catching a belay in between routes. your toes are a bit jammed in while your heals slide around a little which is annoying enough that i recognize it time to time. overall, im pleased enough that i'll keep em even with the high price tag. hope they stand up to a lot of beating. beyond functionality, they are very cute and i get compliments when i wear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for the crag These are now my favorite approach shoe for the crag. They are so fast to take on and off walking between boulders or routes. The laces never need to be untied. The heels actually stay on when walking and scrambling unlike other shoes I have tried that can be worn as slippers. The leather seems durable and the shoe is light and not stiff. I would still wear a different type of approach shoe for climbing easy trad or for lots of backcountry scrambling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits like a glove, Medial arch support minimal I LOVE these shoes! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the medial arch has very minimal support and I have chronic anterior tibialis tendonitis (toes go numb if gets irritated sort of thing) - otherwise, these shoes are flexible, no real irritation hot spots, love how close to the skin they are to prevent sand/rocks from getting in. Will just need to see how HOT my feet get in the summer hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good everyday shoes Sizing is accurate. The sole is very soft and compliant, it gives you a good feel of the surface you are walking or running on. The slip on feature is very convenient for when you need to quickly step out of the house, or make quick errands. The only down side is the footbeds it comes with does not have much arch support

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These! These are probably the most comfortable shoes I own. They are flexible yet sturdy and so light on the feet. They are also true to size. I am a size 9 and they fit like a glove. The first day I wore them I had two people ask me where I got them. These will for sure be my go to shoes for any activity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I ordered a half size I ordered a half size up and I'm thankful. Being suede, there's less flexibility in the "upper" material than some shoes. Overall, though, the shoe is very lightweight and comfortable. I've used them around town, but not yet on the rocks. Soon , though.
