The Black Diamond Women's Technician Shoe is a performance approach shoe for grip on technical scrambles. Make your way to the crag with your feet wrapped in comfort thanks to the breathable engineered knit upper. The rubber toe protects the shoe as well as helps grip in various situations while the BlackLabel-Mountain sticky rubber outsole provides the traction underfoot. Lightweight on the foot as well as when attached to your pack or harness via one of the webbing loops.

Awesome for Moving in the MountainsIn terms of moving in the mountains these shoes can kind of do it all. I have always struggled with ankle stability when hiking, scrambling, or doing long approaches, but these shoes have not given me any issues. They offer so much stability and control and the rubber is top notch. For someone who is notoriously uncoordinated without climbing shoes on, these have been very helpful!

Great all around ShoeThese shoes are very comfortable, they have a sock like fit. It’s hard for me to find shoes that fit so well. They have a deep heel cup, which keeps your foot securely in the shoe. They are a great all around shoe, but note they do run very small. I usually wear a 5.5 and had to size up 1 full size, to a 6.5. I will buy more pairs, it’s hard to find shoes that fit so well.

Runs smallI wanted to like these soooo badly but I ordered my regular shoe size and they are WAY too small. I can barely fit my foot in them without socks on. Not ideal for an approach shoe whatsoever. No indication of adjusting size when ordering so it's a huge bummer that I cannot return these. I'd be fine with an exchange for a size that fits, honestly. So be careful with the sizing before purchasing. I can't speak to how well they work as a shoe because I can't wear them

Great Shoe!Great approach shoe! I definitely recommend buying a half size bigger than you usually wear. I bought my usual size and they fit a little snug, also downhill doesn’t feel great because my toes get jammed. I think if they were a half size bigger, they would overall be fantastic!

Very small[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes run very small! I had to size up a lot, I ended up ordering three shoes to get the correct size. I wish I would have known that return shipping is a lot. I would recommend ordering from somewhere that does free returns if you want to try these shoes.

Narrow[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typically wear 7.5 in shoes ended up getting size 9 for a comfortable fit. I have wider feet and these shoes are definitely made for narrow feet.
