Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid shoe Let me preface this by saying I’m not sure what the deal is with the guy who ordered the wrong size and then gave the shoe a 1 star. Sounds like a “you” problem to me. Anyways, about the shoe. It’s solid. It’s low volume is great for my skinny feet. It’s got just enough curve to ride the line between performance and comfort- they don’t kill me feet on long climbs. It’s nice and stiff and super grippy. As with any type of footwear, I reccoment trying on a pair before buying. I had to go up a half size compared to what I usually climb in. Construction seems solid and I’m sure they’ll hold up for a long time. They’re breathable, comfortable, durable, and have great performance. Climb on

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weird sizing, great rubber, OK fit I wear my Anasazi Velcro’s size 8 and these Zones are size 10.5; so yeah, check them on your feet before you buy. Fit is OK so far, normal sized feet and the LVs need a bit of tugging on the velcro to snug up the tops, heel cup is good, toebox works fine: I stood on some credit card micro edges that would have been dicey in some other shoes I wear. Part of that has to be the Fuze rubber which is remarkably good so far. I was using trusting smears and tiny feet on some high alpine blocs and they were way stickier than I expected. Also took them to a co-op gym where they were pretty solid. I don’t think anything is going to be able to replace the original Anasazi Velcros in my book, but these will probably make it into my gym bag and the crash pad I keep in the car.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, aggressive shoe. Gotta break it in! First, I love the look of these shoes! I'm new to climbing, so they are definitely more aggressive than I need, but oh well, they of course get the job done! I bought these in my street shoe size and the first time I wore them, my toes were sore for a three or four days and I thought they were too small. But after making some changes (not wearing with socks, putting toes in first and then heels) and wearing 5 or 6 times I think they have broken in and fit pretty well! No more lasting pain. I mean, they aren't "comfortable" to wear, but they aren't supposed to be. I also unstrap them and pull my heels out between climbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Shoe-Momentum to Zone LV Climber I love this shoe. Last winter I got the Momentum shoes in 6.5 sizing and I loved them so much and I became a sold v4, v5(ehh) climber. Sadly, in April while trailblazing in the woods, one of my shoes had somehow slipped off my carabiner. I got lazy and my school offers free rental at our climbing gym and I just used those, with the intent to get really good footwork. I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Zone LV, because in the rentals I would use, I had some space to slide laterally and learned that I have low volume feet. I ended up going up to my street shoe of 7 for the Zone LV and the second I put them on I fell in love. They are incredible. Fit my feel perfectly with a little tightness that will diminish as i break them in. Amazing shoe. Amazing grip, 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them--sticky and functional I bought these about two months ago and I love them. I don't get what the negative reviews are on about. I love these. (Also, size complaints are ridiculous. You have to try on climbing shoes). I've climbed in 3 other shoes (2 la sportivas and 5.10s) and these are by far my favorite. They're super sticky -- I feel like I'll never come off the wall. I keep having to learn that I can stick footholds as small as I can now. They took about two weeks to break in (I climb 3x per week). My max grades are V4 / 5.11B.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing seems way off I have a pair of Momentums in 13 that fit and really like them, in most La Sportiva (skwama and katana) I wear a 12. After reading reviews that they ran small I hoped to get by in a 13 in the Zone LV but could hardly get my foot into the thing. I would like to be able to purchase more BD Footwear as they generally get good reviews but only when they fit and this shoes seems to run way too small.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing chart Opened the box and could see clearly they would not be fitting. Going to have to pay to ship them back and get a size bigger or so. Sizing chart could use some touching up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe. VERY narrow [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a narrow foot so decided to try the LV version of the Zone, and it was too narrow for me. I had to exchange for the normal version (which I have previously used and really like). So unless you're absolutely swimming in the regular version, this may be too narrow.
