Product Reviews
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved these and they betrayed me! These are really not durable nor are they truly waterproof. I work in a papermaking studio where there's water all over the floor and I really need shoes that keep water out. I got a second pair after my first developed gaping holes on the outside of each foot after less than 9 months of intermittent wear. The second pair I've had for less than two weeks and already leaking water. Super sad because they're cute and pretty comfy when they're dry! Can't believe how poor the quality is since they're not exactly cheap. I have to assume Bogs is losing money on all the replacement shoes they're sending out because I'd be surprised if these shoes last anyone more than a year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted 5 weeks I like the design of this rain boot and thought they would be great for autumn and spring but after the first wear I was left with cuts on both ankles form the raw edge of the boots. After healing I resume wearing them with long sox and it was better but still somewhat irritating. Sadly after 5 weeks of occasional wear both boots ripped open on the inner side of the foot. 5 weeks! As a long time Bogs wearer I expect much better quality then that. I will not be buying Bogs rain booths again and I hesitate to replace my aging Bogs winter booths with new ones if this is the new quality standard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them, but runs big I have been wearing bogs since I was a teenager. I love them! Their quality, the warmth, they're comfortable, I love them. For me, Bogs always run a bit tight. So although I wear a size 9 in normal shoes, I have always purchased size 10 in Bogs and it has worked out great. This time, not so much. I got them in the mail and immediately knew, just by looking at them, that they were too big. And they were. I've sent them in to be exchanged, I'm hoping they'll fit because they're very cute and look really durable. I have no concern whatsoever about how they'll do in the cold because Bogs have never let me down!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for a Minnesota Winter :( I want to love these, but there is no way these are rated to 13 degrees BELOW zero unless you are ok with frostbite on your toes. After wearing them for many weeks in Minnesota weather, I'd say 13 above zero is about as low as you can comfortably go, and that's if you have on heavy wool socks and are moving at a good clip. Otherwise these are great for walking around in rain and/or snow, but don't count on them for truly cold temps. Disappointing as I needed them for a few miles of walking each day to and from my daughter's school and was expecting them to work for all but the very worst weather a Minnesota winter has to offer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute, waterproof, worth the cost! I got these during the springtime of northern WI, which is very muddy and rainy. After doing a few days of yard work in complete muck, these withheld so well! They're definitely waterproof and my feet spent hours in water, and they stayed really dry because of the insulation on the inside. I was bummed they didn't come in half sizes, a 7.5 would have still worked better I think but I don't have any problems with them slipping off when using them. They clean off well from mud, dog poop, dirt, whatever is on them. I won't complain that I can also pair them with a cute outfit and they serve a dual purpose well! I would definitely buy again, but please make some half sizes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot! I love these boots. They're a great choice just heading into winter, but not there yet, for those wet rainy days. I was a little reluctant, reading the other reviews saying they were hard to get on, but that hasn't been my experience at all. They are boots, so you do have to bend down, or sit down, to put them on. They don't get on your feet on their own! I also find it helps to press on the fleece lining on the inside part of the ankle, because I don't want that to get pushed down over time and become unglued. Overall, I am very happy and I think I will be able to wear these well into winter!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favorite Bogs These are nice "rain" boots. I would not recommend them for the snow, I don't see how they are rated to -13 degrees. They are rubber boots with a thin fussy liner. They are good for rainy weather and great for mud. I'm usually a womens size 7.5 and ordered the 7 and they fit well. They run narrow and do not provide any arch support, I had to put in a Superfeet insert. Superfeet inserts are not cheap so for the total price of the boots and the inserts I could of just bought an all around better boot. I have other Bogs that are absolutely amazing, I've recommended them to multiple friends, however these boots are not up to the same standard. I don't think i'd recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rockin the mustard! How I love Bogs for our Wisconsin weather and I am so pleased with the fun mustard color of my new Amanda slip on's! Not only are they roomy for my wide foot. (I wear a 7 and ordered a 7), but I can insert my orthotics or arch supports with ease. I was pleasantly surprised with the fur type lining (not thick) which was described as a "Max-Wick lining. My other pair of Bogs did not have this, and it's warm and wicks moisture. Other reviews said these boots were "hard to get on", but not the case for me. Remember - these are not a "step in" but "slip on" boot. One pull of the tab and they slip right on. They were, however, a bit stiff on my skinny ankles for the first week or so. I wear this with no socks, low socks or taller, slouchy, thicker socks that rise above the boot for a whole different look. In rain or snow, the traction is excellent.

If you generally wear a half size shoe or boot, Bogs recommends sizing up to the next full size.

Bogs are built on a European last which is contoured to the foot for better comfort

Beginning with a roomy toe box, a European last is wider through the forefoot, supportive in the arch, and narrows in the heel.

A European last accommodates a greater range of widths and lengths, superseding the need for half sizes and widths.

Because of different measurement systems, there is no exact conversion between the various international shoe sizes, so be aware that sizes in one system can fall between sizes in another.

The size conversions provided by Bogs represent an approximate conversion.
