Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Winter Boots! These boots fit like a glove right out of the box! I wore them for a week in Portland, Oregon in February and I hiked through freezing rain, regular rain, ice, slushy snow, and three feet deep fresh powdery snow. I did not slip one time and my feet stayed completely dry! I always have ice cold feet and these boots are shockingly warm and sturdy considering how light they are. They are also nice enough to wear with jeans (I have the all black version). I wore them for a week straight, walked over 30 miles, and didn't get a single blister. I can't say enough good things about these boots!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and stylish I love these boots. They fit as expected and are warm (We are at temperatures right around freezing). Surprisingly, my favourite feature is the loop on the back that makes them so easy to put on. Have had many people ask where the boots are from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect versatile around-town winter boots Perfect boot for around town in winter. Grippy, comfy, easy to pull on and off, warm and dry. Good grip on icy parking lots and sidewalks. These are not my backcountry/snow sport boots- I have warmer and burlier boots- but very happy with these for a lighter weight around-town winter boot in Steamboat Springs Colorado.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and not sweaty Wore these out for the first time last night. We live in the Adirondacks and went to a light show in Tupper Lake. Wore them on the warm car ride, then outside in 18 degree weather then back inside then outside again. My feet stayed warm but sweat-free and very comfortable. Highly recommend these boots

Haven't tried them in snow yet, but wore them for a long-ish, cold walk (took a risk without breaking them in first) and they were comfortable and my feet kept warm! We'll see if they hold up to the advertised cold rating (I'm honestly dubious but we'll see). Very stylish :D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and comfortable Arcata Urban Leather Tall boots are so comfortable! They fit more like a shoe and are true to size. With some boots it is hard to drive but not these. They are not stiff and bulky. They have great traction in the snow and keeps your feet warm. They do not look like a boot and very stylish when wearing jeans.

If you generally wear a half size shoe or boot, Bogs recommends sizing up to the next full size.

Bogs are built on a European last which is contoured to the foot for better comfort

Beginning with a roomy toe box, a European last is wider through the forefoot, supportive in the arch, and narrows in the heel.

A European last accommodates a greater range of widths and lengths, superseding the need for half sizes and widths.

Because of different measurement systems, there is no exact conversion between the various international shoe sizes, so be aware that sizes in one system can fall between sizes in another.
