Rated 5 out of 5 by from durable, warm, keep feet dry, and comfortable. I bought the green paisley version of these back in December of 2013 and I have worn them during the winter and rainy weather ever since. They, this year, are starting to show natural wear on the heels of the sole, but after wearing them as much as I have that is to be expected so I am not disappointed in that. They keep my feet warm and dry as well as they are comfortable. I bought them a size up from what I normally would buy a boot and that seems to work really well. They may need to be replaced after this season or next when the heel finally gives out. Highly recommend these! I get compliments on these nearly every time I wear these out, too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The sizes are inconsistent. Beware! I'm very distressed about THIS pair of bogs I received. I've worn Bogs for 10 years (that's how long my first pair lasted!!) but this pair seemed "short" for the size 9 that I ordered and received. (My all-time standard size I've worn for 25 years...and the same size as my last identical pair of bogs boots) Thinking they would be the same....I cut the tags off and began to wear them without realizing the right boot seems smaller than the left boot. The odd thing is...ACTUALLY my left foot is a half size LARGER than my right. There's the proof that the boots are not cut the same. I can't wear them due to getting a blister on my large toe due to the rubbing from the boot. I'm so disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love these but they don't last past 1 year I wear the classic talls every day to do horse chores, in 4 seasons, as well as yard work. They are very comfortable, but for the second time, they have developed a hole at the back of the ankle and water easily gets in them. :( You can't expect to get more than a year of wear out of them, which unfortunately now is their warranty period, instead of lifetime. At least they don't wear out in the toes like other brands. This is my second pair in about 2.5 years, so I'd say just over a year is a pretty honest lifespan for daily use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Boots Awesome Customer Service I love these boots and the bogs company! I work on a horse farm in rainy and cold Ohio. These boots kept my feet warm and comfortable all winter. When mud season started in the spring, my feet were well protected. Did I mention how comfortable these are!? I did have a few issues with my boots durability.I am hard on my boots due to my job. About 6 months after purchase I had a couple tears in the side of my boot. I contacted customer service via email. They were quick and easy to work with. I was sent new boots free of charge within 2 weeks with very little hassle. I plan on buying some new summer boots this month. I am always happy to but from a company who stands by their product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love them but... I live in Brooklyn,NY that should tell you that the winters are hard, ugly and difficult to navigate for a full day out in a world where the weather is miserable, and the offices are probably over heated. I have UGGS, I hate them. Boggs seemed to be a great alternative and they are warm, comfortable suit my purpose of getting through all parts of the city, in all kind of weather BUT (and I have no idea how to solve this) they are really, really hard to take off when you get home and all you want to do is get into your comfy shoes. I have the high boots and a suggestion is to always plan on wearing knee socks, just for you own comfort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Warm AT ALL I bought these for use in Northern Canada, as they're rated -40C. Well let me tell you that claim of -40C is a LIE. I wore them out the first time ice fishing, it was only -12C on that day and within ten minutes of being out of the truck my feet were FROZEN. Needless to say I'm overly disappointed with these boots. I was hoping they would be a lot warmer then they are, as they've claimed they're good to -40. At -20C outside temp, in a vehicle if i don't have the heat blasting on my feet they are cold. I'll give them one star because they are comfortable, waterproof, and probably durable. But they are NOT a -40C winter boot. I would not buy these again for this purpose, nor would I recommend anyone buy these if they're looking for a warm waterproof boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best of both worlds i live in northeast wisconsin and wear these year round - working in the greenhouse, outdoor gardening in the summer, caring for free-range chickens, and trudging through snow in winter with the dogs. i now have 4 pairs of these boots. i've had the last two for 4 years and the holes i've worn in them can't be patched again, aren't waterproof anymore and the design has faded. however, i will continue to wear them in dry conditions. i expect these next two will serve me well for another 4. i have narrow feet, but with the addition of a sports insole, these boots fit very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic work/casual boot! Great in the elements! These boots are wonderful for work & casual wear! I love bogs I repeatedly buy them. I've worked at a farm & they were perfect. I moved to cold & snowy Maine & these are waterproof, they work great in the snow & have decent tread. I do recommend ordering a size up they do seem to run a bit small . I'm normally an 8 - 8 1/2 in boots & I do take a 9 in bogs. I've also had the plimsoll style which is the best fitting i've had so far but this model is much better for work & more rugged just feels a little wider then the plimsoll. I must say Bogs boots will always be my go to & the company's great as far as taking care of their customers! Highly recommended to anyone! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

If you generally wear a half size shoe or boot, Bogs recommends sizing up to the next full size.

Bogs are built on a European last which is contoured to the foot for better comfort

Beginning with a roomy toe box, a European last is wider through the forefoot, supportive in the arch, and narrows in the heel.

A European last accommodates a greater range of widths and lengths, superseding the need for half sizes and widths.

Because of different measurement systems, there is no exact conversion between the various international shoe sizes, so be aware that sizes in one system can fall between sizes in another.

The size conversions provided by Bogs represent an approximate conversion.
