Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, super practical! I'm in love with this jacket - it's the most practical piece I've seen in a long time. The pockets are great, including the little internal one to keep your phone in place. The snaps under the zipper snap in tight - almost a little too hard to pull apart - but they're such a brilliant detail that makes all the difference when I'm out and need some air without letting the whole jacket flap in the wind. The only surprise was that this really is cool (in temperature) - don't buy it if you want a warm layer! It's pretty thin, so it breathes well and makes for just a slight layer of warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations!! Oh wow this jacket far exceeded my expectations! I ordered it last minute as the weather in Texas kept getting colder and colder. I had a 50 mile trail race and knew I needed something to block the wind and possible precipitation. I came across an article in my search about how Desi wore this jacket the year she ran Boston (the rainy cold year!) I thought if its good enough for Desi then I'll try it. It was the perfect lightweight outer shell to block the cold wind!! I have worn it several cold morning since. I especially love the way I can unzip it but it has special clasps to keep it from flapping in the wind. I have already convinced 2 girlfriends to order their own. Well done Brooks!! Now I need to try some of your trail shoes!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I was hesitant to buy this jacket, as usually jackets just make me overheat no matter how cold the temps. I am SO GLAD I went for it. No overheating/great breathability, and it adds just the right amount of warmth. I’ve worn it with a heavy long sleeve underneath for mid 20s and then with just a t shirt for 45 and windy. It dries very quickly which is great for winter snow and hail. The fit is perfect and I LOVE the snaps. I thought they were silly at first, but have used the feature now on every run with the jacket. Nice work, Brooks!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go-to for wind Everytime I wear this other runners/hikers ask me where I got it. Love this light jacket for wind or as a light layer for variable temperature days. Snaps along the zipper front mean that I can unzip and leave it on without it blowing around, a really nice feature. The shoulder straps are not great - loosen easily and dig into my shoulders - but it stuffs into its pocket and packs really beautifully into a camel back or day pack. The yellow color is really nice for daytime visibility. I'm a women's 16-18 and the XXL feels great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! I read the reviews before buying, so I ordered 1 size up and am glad I did. Great jacket. Love the snaps in addition to the zipper. As you heat up, you can unzip it, but keep the few snaps on, so the jacket doesn't flap around you. I love being able to pack it in its bag and carry it easily if I get too warm. I just received it early this morning and wore it, but it isn't raining, so I can't comment yet on its water resistance or repellant ability. Love the Arctic color! Thank you BROOKS for offering that color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for windy days One of my favorites now! I bought both the pink and black to make sure I always have one available for running. It’s fairly TTS, a little shorter than a normal jacket maybe but not uncomfortably so and I actually prefer it since it’s easier for running. It’s super light but really helps with the wind. I’m 5’7.5” ~140, ~34AB, ~28”waist and M fit exactly how I expected and wanted. I usually only wear a tank top or t shirt under but have worn long sleeve compression top and light sweatshirt under without issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect PNW Running Jacket I LOVE this jacket. I live in the PNW, so there is a lot of running in the rain. I have used it for a few light rain days, and it has been great. I also use this with a short sleeve top underneath for colder (high 30s to love 40s) runs. It offers great ventilation while still protecting me from the elements. I typically wear a size 12 (5'7" and 175lbs). Based on other reviews, I ordered an XL, and it is a bit big. I like the fit, but if I order another, I'll go with a large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great running jackets. Absolutely love this jacket, the color, the material and the fit. That being said, my other Brooks running jacket was a SM so I ordered a Sm and it was more like an XS. It was ridiculously short and tight. I reordered a MD and this time it fit, but the bottom is a little loose. It’s like I needed a SM/MD size lol. So keep that in mind. I’m 5’4 and 118 lbs. I love the color and I got my husband the men’s version in LG. He is 6’ and weighs 163. It fits him great.
