Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bike Trailer, Easy to Use I have really enjoyed this bike trailer. I was searching for a bike trailer to take my kids to daycare in, so I wanted something robust, which is why I went to the Burley Cub. I've used it for more than six months, and used it practically daily from about two months. It has nice features that keep my kids secure and protected from the elements. It seems pretty roomy for the kids compared to other bike trailers I've used. It also has a decent amount of storage space and can be turned into just a trailer by removing the seats. All the attachments and such work well and are fairly simple to use. Here are the cons: It's pretty heavy (which is to be expected due to the solid bottom), but I feel that it's worth having the durability and protection. It bends the rear axle of my bike. Not sure if that is a design flaw in the Cub or just the result of using a bike trailer. I think the bike shop felt like that is something that might just happen. Thankfully it's a pretty easy and cheap repair. Overall, I'd still say it's a 5-star bike trailer.d

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent trailer We bought the Cub just a month ago and use it 2-3 times a week for 5-7 mile family bike rides. You barely feel any extra weight behind you. (NOTE: We do live in a flat area.) It's a smooth ride for my little man and has great storage. The hard bottom is easy to clean up and keeps water from spraying up into the cabin. It is heavy to lift in and out of a car trunk, but overall we have been thrilled with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Bike Trailer Been using this for about 2 weeks and love it! Upgraded from a different manufacture and wow what a difference. Although this trailer is larger than the previous, it is lighter and much easier to tow. I like the hitch system much more than the other and having shocks keep the ride smooth for our 2 year old. The seating system seems much more comfortable for him and he loves taking rides in his new trailer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money We have been using the cub now for a year. It works great in South Dakota weather both winter and summer. Kids stay warm and toasty in the winter wind. I use it both as stroller and bike trailer. L Kids are 3 years and 8 months they love it as well. The small dog we have even joins them for rides. The bivvy sacks work great in winter. Yes it’s heavy by good quality. Happy purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving our Cub Trailer I’m glad we spent the extra money for the cub. I’m sure the others are nice, but the Cub had some awesome features. We like the hard bottom, suspension, and handlebar/rollbar. I feel like it makes the trailer safer and more comfortable for my kids. We are having a lot of fun bike riding as a family!

Hi, the tail wagon is too small. Since the Cub and D'lite supposedly both have seats that fold down for "cargo" can either be used for a 45lb dog? Of course I can.put a pad/bed inside. Where are dimensions and weight capacity for both? Please advise.

Asked by: BONO
Thanks for the question! Theoretically, yes you could use both the Cub & D'Lite Trailers for pets. I have to make it clear, tho that Burley does not recommend that. The Cub is 36 x 31 x 38.25 inches (L x W x H) and has a weight capacity of 100 lbs. The D'Lite Trailer also has a 100 lb weight capacity and is 33.25 x 31.25 x 38.25 inches. The only differences between the two is that the Cub does not have that extra "elbow room" and it does not include the 16+ Wheel Kit. I hope this info helps. If you are looking for more length and don't need those extra features, than the Cub would be the way to go :)

At what age is it safe to put a child in here?

Asked by: rdbrock
Hello rdbrock, good question! There is no minimum age for this stroller, as long as this fit is safe and secure and does not exceed 100 lbs. I hope this helps!
