Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Bike Trailer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No major assembly required. The collapsible features are well designed and easy to operate. I expect the materials to last for quite a while unless a car runs it over. I don't feel any difference in my bikes balance when riding with it hitched. It's shape while being a bit wider than myself and my bike doesn't lead me to needing to compensate when maneuvering around cars or making turns. The flag provides extra visibly to cars. Excellent storage capacity with a divider flap and spacious pockets on the side. I'm excited to haul more in it and hope this motivates others to run their errands via bicycle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having used a Burley Encorse for 3 years I decided to retire it after my kiddo started riding bikes on his own. And I purchased the Nomad. In that time I became very familiar with Burley products. First off the materials are first rate and hold up well. Regardless of rain or snow it remains durable and easily cleaned. Another nice thing is how things fold up, stow, and pop off (ex, the wheels slide off easily after depressing a button under a rubber cover...nice touch). Lastly, the trailer pulls very well and the connection point is very durable. So far I like the Nomad as much as my previous. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's gone more places than it should have I traded out hauling kids with a Burley, to hauling their cargo with a Burley. In the last seven years of owning the Nomad, I have taken it on more adventures than any trailer should have survived. I have made a few repairs along the way but Burley has been there with great support and the Nomad is one tough trailer. It tracks perfectly. When it's empty, you'll forget it's there. When it's full, the weight is distributed and balanced. There will always be a debate about what is better, two wheel trailers or one wheel, but the Nomad is the prefect representative for what makes two wheel trailers great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT FOR TOURING My wife and I recently completed a 4,300-mile ride across the country from Yorktown, VA to Astoria, OR along the TransAmerica Trail. My wife had panniers on her bike and I pulled the Burley Nomad trailer. I ended up pulling 60 pounds total including the trailer itself which included my professional DSLR camera, my 15" MacBook Pro, an iPad, sleeping bags, shower gear, 6 liters of liquids (water and Powerade), etc. The Burley worked flawlessly from coast to coast! Both the camera gear and the MacBook handled the trip without a problem thanks to the Nomad. Pros: Well-made and darn near indestructible! Not a single thing on the trailer broke. Tires still have plenty of tread even after 4,300 miles. The tracking is stable even at speeds of close to 50 mph. Was able to fit much more gear into the trailer than we actually needed. Cons: The only con is that the trail isn't waterproof. The yellow top cover is waterproof. The front, back, sides and bottom are made of a durable material, but it is not waterproof. If the Burley is standing in the rain, it's fine, but when you're riding, the bottom and the front for the most part will get wet. The easy solution for this was to line the inside with a trash bag. We ended up using one trash bag to keep things dry for the entire ride. Lastly, to give you an idea of how durable this trailer is, my wife and I were riding our bikes through a town and I misjudged a curb going about 15 mph. Although I missed it with my bike, the Burley hit the curb with one wheel and flipped. Because of the way the Burley attaches to the bike, within a few feet, it self-righted. I didn't see what happened since the trailer was behind me, but I knew something went wrong. My wife, who was behind me, saw it and couldn't believe how quickly the Burley self-righted. I checked the Burley and couldn't see anything at all wrong with it...not even a scuff on the yellow top! I would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who is considering a long-haul tour. If I were going to do the cross-country bike ride again, I would definitely use this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Burley looking for wong way Loved it. I traveled from Summerland, BC to Princeton - passing by a road called Wong Way. I used my Burley Nomad for the first backpacking trip of the year. This was a fairly well-groomed trail with a few spots that were washed out from spring run off. The Nomad just trailed along behind me, on all terrain I went through. It is rated for 100lbs, but in my opinion when doing a backpacking trip, you should NOT go above 40lbs total. This would greatly increase your enjoyment of the trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and Durable Been a huge Burley fan since we bought the D’Lite for our kids in 2014. Already being familiar with Burley quality I felt comfortable buying this. Now that my kids are older, we got this to carry essentials for bike rides, carrying pool toys for trips to the neighborhood pool, and to have our small (17lb) dog ride in when she got tired from running next to us. Plan on using it for grocery runs when we move back to Germany. Amazing quality and design

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design, wroth the money! I bought my Nomad last year for my long distance weekend adventures. I had this packed full with all my gear thinking it would weigh me down. However, It still felt like I was pulling nothing behind me. I made it from MSP to Duluth, MN in the same day! Highly recommends to those bike packer and long distance adventure seekers. Light weight, easy to connect, hold everything you need including the rack attachment you can purchase. Love my Nomad!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cargo hauler We have delivery teams on bikes for the Meals on Wheels program. My Nomad has allowed me to haul a larger volume of meals for clients than what I was doing with my panniers. I hardly noticed the Nomad is behind me, only hills remind me due to the higher loading factor. We have to carry more meals when we deliver them now due to C-19 concerns and only have once a week contact with clients to minimize their risk.
