Get a frickin tape already!!!!!!I really like the way the shorts look. But, the size is not accurate, they run small by about 1.5". I measured the inside waistband. I will be sending back. This sucks because my deal will now cost me. I also ordered the cargo shorts relaxed fit in a size 46. When I measured the inside waistband it was under 41" really? Send those people who are making them a tape please. Does anyone at carhartt ever check this stuff? I can't build a house or addition for someone and have it be 5 or 6 feet off and call it good. Size matters. I have been wearing your stuff for over 40 years. This happens a lot with your stuff, please be accurate on you measurements.

Carhartt Mens rugged flex Rigby 10" short[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 2 of these size 33, the fit is spot on! They fit so perfect that I don't dare put em in the dryer after washing, don't want to ruin a good thing. Stretchy and flexy, but they look like cahartt canvas with a finer weave.right side has a lower slant pocket for phone or pliers. I phone fits perfect and secure even when beating up the trails mtb'n. Gonna get a couple more before the design disappears. Both were a different color, but made exactly the same with identical fit. Wifee will freak but a man's gotta have good duds!

Carhart Mens Shorts[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it and the product was of great quality......the shorts were not what I was looking for.....they act like a short version of a pair of pants....not shorts. Why not try the same material....same name brand and a looser fit around.....buttocks.....expandable waste....and ,,,, especially the junction from the hip to the legs..................It is summer.....let this have a little room to enjoy the weather ! Service was great...and I will consider purchasing from you again! Quality is great......fit needs work.

Wild Sizing VariationsI bought 3 pairs of these shorts. Exact same model and stock number, 3 different colors. One fit perfectly (a 5), one fit tight but tolerable, and one I couldn't even get around my waist (a 1). On average, a 3. The shorts made in Bangladesh didn't even get close to going around my waist while the others, made in Colombia I think, were wearable and one was absolutely comfortable. If you buy these, be prepared to return some or all of your purchase. Sizing is extremely inconsistent and varies wildly between factories in different countries.

Size Matters...Size Really MattersA week after purchasing the Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Rigby Double Front Pant and finding the 36W x 34L to be the most comfortable work pant ever, I jumped right in for 2 pairs of the shorts version for my remodeling business here in Florida. Wrong! Bad Move!
Whatever size template is being used for the long pant it didn't carry over to the shorts, not even close, can't even button up the waist on the shorts no matter how hard I pull. Major disappointment on the heels of what was a great experience with Carhartt.

Just a tip from experienceI've been a long time wearer of carhartt products. If you are like I am you burn thru pants and shorts at a very high rate. I wear pants or shorts all week and wash on weekends so they get overused. I also wear them all day at work as a carpenter.
Here's my tip. Spend the extra $20 and get the double front rigby pants and cut them into shorts....they'll last twice as long!
They rugby is not quite as tough....but worth it in comfort!

Best shirts for work and playI purchased several pairs of shorts in different colors on a visit to the US this summer and I absolutely love them. I wear them almost every day and receive a lot of compliments from friends. They are my go to shorts of choice as the pockets are large enough to hold a cell phone and wallet and my keys without losing their shape. I would heartily recommend these shirts for both work and for simply hanging out. Great product that you know will last a long time.

Great, but size wasn't what i expectedThese shorts are very nice and the stretch movement is fantastic, really comfortable. Im 6.4 and slim, ordered the 32 which is my normal Carhartt size but these are definitely larger. They still fit but have to wear a belt or they slip off my skinny butt. The waist almost feels like is flairs out at the top. The length is good just sitting above the knee, the leg width is just ok, a little to slim fitting for me in general but the stretch make up for that.

HOW to MEASURE NATURAL WAIST: Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Please note this may not be the smallest point.
HIP / SEAT: Measure at the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8" below the natural waist.
