Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied customer I’m happy with the jacket and bibs. I work out in all kinds of weather. They are pretty breathable for rain gear that is supposed to be water tight. Used mine all season and no complaints. Lots of our guys say they don’t stay water proof for long “don’t wash or dry them”. Used mine all season and they haven’t let me down. One complaint, the hood is a bit big and hangs in front of my face a bit, then putting a hard hat over it makes it worse. Putting the hood over a hard hat works but then it pulls the sides open which sucks when rain/sleet is coming in sideways. But let’s face it working in bad weather sucks period… overall good product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have never been more comfortable in the rain I purchased this jacket two years ago skeptical as I never have like the old school PVC rain gear. This coat has changed my life for the better. I am a landscaper in upstate NY. I frequently wear this coat on rain days even in warmer weather. It breathes and keeps you dry. It does have its limitations normally after four-five hours of steady rain. Its durable material hold ups to abrasions and rough material. I normally just hose it off after a long day and let the air from my boot dryer blow on it, its normally good to go in the morning. I wear it during snow events with base layers when I have to get out of the truck to shovel or snow blow walkways.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jacket I’ve owned. I bought this jacket back in may for our trip to Iceland. It is now January, in Michigan & I am still wearing it. This jacket looks was top notch in the rain & wind we endured in Iceland. Here I am in January & it’s 12 degrees outside, the wind proof quality of this jacket separates it from any other rain jacket I’ve owned. My one and only complaint is the Velcro on the flap for the hood. Carhartt could have very well placed 2 buttons just like the 4 buttons used to detach the hood instead of the Velcro that gets caught on everything. I gave this jacket 5 stars b/c I would buy it again if & when this one wears out. But, change that Velcro on the flap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket This is a nice jacket. The fit is good. I’m 6’2”, 220 and I ordered the XL. I wore it the first day I got it and the rain rolls right off it. I like the hood and the fact that it has snaps so it is possible to remove it if I want to. The zipper stopped at the neck flap when I first zipped up, but it seems to pass over that easier as I wear it more, so it won’t be a problem. The sleeves are angled on the outer part of the arm so rain rolls over and stays off my hands. I haven’t had it long enough to see how durable it will be, but it seems like it can take normal wear and tear within reason. I would recommend this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty rain jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great jacket, I use alone or over a puff jacket on really cold days. They run a little large, I am between a large n ex large and the size large fits great with plenty of room to spare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket Do I like this jacket? No...I absolutely LOVE it. I was intrigued by the photos of it online. But once I received it, the pics do not do it justice! This jacket fits, looks and has all of the little extra features that set it apart from the others. The ONLY thing is it is to heavy for hot summer usage. I wish that I had purchased this for last Fall, Winter (layer under it) and Spring. I will be purchasing this in additional colors. I have had several other jackets that had waterproof features (and liked them), but none of them fit the bill so completely as this one. Could NOT be happier with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mid Weather jacket I've had my jacket for just over a week now and we've been having some pretty questionable weather here in the Western PA area. This jacket has been a great addition with the temps neither freezing or warm but swinging back and forth. It's plenty big enough to layer a flannel or fleece under but provides superior water proofing. Even the wet snow on my shoulders didn't dampen my shirt in the least. The inside pockets are a nice addition for keeping things dry, like the dog treats on my nightly hike. It even stood up to the dampness and temp fluctuations in my brewery during a brew day. I highly recommend this jacket for someone looking for a durable mid weight waterproof layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my shoreline jacket so much we bought one as a gift for my father in law as well. I have warn the jacket in heavy down pours and while it will get a bit heavier I have never gotten wet in it, not even on my shoulders. I hate hoods and this one does come off. Quality is better than expected, even from carhartt. I purchased this jacket intending to NOT wear it to work to not mess it up on a job site but it has become my go too coat and the one I always grab. The extra length from the tall is appreciated but the jacket does run big. The sleeves have a spandex type cuff that is comfortable and end outer fabric extends down over the hand beyond the cuff to keep hands dry as well.
