Rated 3 out of 5 by from SO BIG I wish I'd read the reviews better, because these were HUGE. I have two pairs of Carharrt bibs, the relaxed fit twill. I have both the L Tall and the M Tall and wear them equally. I used the size chart for this and checked the fit description and decided on the Large Tall. It is freaking HUGE. I look like one of those dramatic Jenny Craig commercials. The waist has a two inch gap all the way around me, it's like I tried on an XXL. I tucked in a big hoodie and they were still too big. I am returning, but I am also going to try to find these in store to try on, because I might need a small (a size I have not worn since I graduated high school).

They are roomy, too - I had to size down to a Medium Short in spite of the size chart recommending Large Short (I'm top-heavy and 5'4", 155 lbs and wear 10s and 12Ps in regular jeans). I bought both these and the Dovetails. I love them both! These are a tiny bit baggier than the Dovetails but still flattering and super cute (I work outside in way scrubbier clothes than this - I bought both pairs of overalls for how adorable they are). The denim feels soft and lightweight but also very sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY SATISFIED WITH THESE BIBS! LOVE THESE BIBS. THE MOVE VERY WELL WHEN WORKING IN THE YARD OR ON PROJECTS WHERE YOU NEED TO SQUAT AND THEN STAND UP OR BEND OVER. I WANTED PANTS I DIDNT NEED TO THINK ABOUT OR PULL ON WHEN WORKING IN THE YARD. WITH JEANS YOU ALWAYS HAD TO WORRY ABOUT WHETHER YOUR BACKSIDE IS HANGING OUT. OR IF MAYBE YOUR STOMACH WASNT FEELING THE BEST THAT DAY AND NOW YOU HAVE A PANT WAIST TOUCHING YOU. THESE BIBS SOLVED ALL THE PROBLEMS. I SIZED UP BECAUSE I WANTED EXTRA ROOM TO MOVE AND BE ABLE TO ADD A HOODIE UNDER OR A WINTER COAT WHEN IT IS COLD. THAT WORKS VERY WELL. I LOVE THE WAY THEY MOVE WITH ME. I LOVE THE HUGE POCKETS IN THE FRONT. NO SMALL GIRLY POCKETS IN THESE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall Perfection I absolutely love my denim double-front bib overalls! I have several pairs of overalls, and these are by far my favorite. The straps stay put and don’t slide down, they are super cute, and crazy comfortable. I’m amazed at how soft they are while still feeling durable. I read other reviews saying they ran large and to order down a size, I’m glad I followed this advice. I am 5’7 and 160lbs, with an athletic build, measurements put me in a medium but I ordered a small and the fit is amazing. The denim is lightweight, great for warmer weather, and has a good deal of stretch, making bending a squatting easy and comfortable. Thank you Carhartt for making a flattering yet practical women’s overall!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK fit for big/tall woman; denim too thin/stetchy for my preference I ended up returning these because I ended not loving the material (a bit too stretchy for my preference) and I just find that there was any preferable difference in fit for my frame vs. cheaper solid demin overalls that I can pick up at a local ag store. I am 6ft tall, 250 lbs, hourglass with small chest and big ol' hips. I ordered/returned the XXL tall- they work not tight, the strap length was ample and the inseam allowed for about 3-4" extra length that I thought looked cute to roll up. Ultimately, I think I just want a thicker "real" demin, don't care if it's baggy, and can find in the big and tall dudes section. If I were planning to wear these to be a bit cuter, I might give them another shot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not perfect, but almost These run a tad big on me but I am usually size 12 in pants-the bottom of the size range for Large. I'm 5"5" tall and the short length was perfect for me. I believe the people who are saying they are too short must have a shorter torso than I. My only complaint is that the bib gaps out a bit more than I would like...and I wish they were a tad smaller for me, but a medium is too tight, so...oh well. Also, wish Carhartt would make a bib again withOUT the double front. I understand the usefulness of the double fabric, but would still like a pair without that feature.

On cool days I wear them with leggings and a sweatshirt underneath and warm days with a tanktop. They are super stretchy and have a great amount of pockets. I am 5'10 and the tall size is perfect. I would buy them again in a heartbeat and have recommended them to multiple friends! Look for overalls no further.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and practical. I’m a painter and these overalls are my uniform! I love the light stretch in the fabric — makes bending and squatting so much more comfortable. The pockets let me carry my phone, screwdriver and 5-in-1 with me so I don’t have to get down from my ladder every time I need something. I’ve only had them a short time so I don’t know how they will hold up over time, but I except they will given the quality. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because I agree with other reviews about the hooks on the straps — dumb design. Wish they were just the normal hooks every other brand uses. I’m 5’2” and wear a size 8. Got the medium short and they are a little too baggy and a little too long. Would have preferred a Small, but they didn’t have any in stock.
