Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look, but hard to get over shoulders and problem with underwire I LOVE the look of the Amelia top, but the pull-on style is not ideal if you have broad shoulders. Based on my chest measurement, I bought an XS. It's perfectly comfortable once it's on, but getting it over my shoulders is pretty tight. Perhaps I should have sized up to get it over my shoulders more easily, but I suspect the larger size would be too loose. I've also had issues with the wire popping out of the material. I emailed Carve the first time it happened, and they immediately sent me a replacement top, but then it happened again with the second top. I just removed the wires and am wearing it without, but I probably wouldn't buy this style again due to these issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit, but not sure about the underwire I ordered many different swim tops and bottoms in the kaleidoscope print, hoping to find a combo that would work well for me. I'm in my 50's, so even though I'm thin and fit, my body isn't as firm as it once was, and I like a little extra coverage. This top looks good on my athletic build, but I have mixed feelings about the underwire. I don't really need it for support, and it rides up a bit--and I haven't even worn the top in the water yet! For me, this top would have been perfect with just the light padding (which it has) and no underwire. Even so, this top was my favorite that I tried on, and it looks less bunchy and dowdy than on the model pictured. I'm 5'8", 125 lbs, and I got a size Small, which is comfortable and flattering. XS was too tight for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not as expected First let me say I do like this top. The downside is I thought it would be a little longer. It fits like a regular sports bra and stops right under my chest. Also upon the first wash the underwire came out. Granted I was able to get it back in but still a pain because I imagine it will be like that every time now. Also when swimming the top does bubble up once in a while with trapped air. Although it is super cute it is not as expected and I would not pay full price for this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bikini top One of the best bikini tops out there. Seriously. Support is excellent for larger chests. I wore it everyday this last week at the beach (SUPing, body boarding and snorkeling) It retains shape well, held everything in and I didn't have to constantly adjust my boobs or pull the top down, the straps didn't dig in either and were just right. I went with black and I'm considering getting another color as it's such a great top for an active/avid beach goer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite swim top now! I have multiple styles of swim tops from Carve Designs but gave this one a try this year and LOVE IT! I'm small chested (34A) so the underwire is helpfully flattering and at 43 I'm no longer into skimpy so I love the extra coverage from this style. I only wish you had it in more colors because it is so comfortable and easy to be in all day. Please keep these coming!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fit different than expected I’m 5’4” and ordered a small. The top is very cute and well made. However, the fit on me is very different from the picture. I was expecting it to be 2” longer. The side seam of the top is 5” and from the bottom underwire there is 2” of fabric. I think it would be nice to include dimensions with the top descriptors. I’ll exchange this one for a different top.

I got it in two colors and LOVE them! They are super flattering and the underwire keeps everything lifted and separated without causing any discomfort. I get so many compliments on my suit. I’m now a dedicated customer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best swim top ever!! Love this style! I have 2 sold color Amelia tops (black and blue) and I love the solid colors but not crazy about the patterns and stripes. I returned this blue and white stripe top. I’m waiting for Carve Designs to put out more beautiful solid colors in this Amelia style that I can purchase. I hope soon!!
