Amazing Shorts! You need them!I was really baffled at how much I like these shorts. The crinkle waistband is very comfortable but also adds some cute uniqueness to the short. These coordinate with swimsuits, and ultimately I did order a suit to go with them, but I already have worn them just as part of a regular outfit and will likely do that most frequently. The pockets are great, the shorts don't ride up, they will dry quickly if they get wet, they've very easy to move in and super light for hot summer days. For reference, I'm normally a size 16 and purchased the XL and they are a perfect fit, not too tight, not baggy, perfect!

Fantastic versatile swimsuitI really appreciate this design. I have a long narrow torso and it has always been difficult finding a proper fitting swimsuit especially one that meets my athletic needs. The top and bottom fit great. No blisters while wearing a pfd and paddling. I even wear it on trail runs when a swim is planned. The top offers me sufficient support to replace my sports bra. In addition, the suit also looks great. It is fun to have sports gear that is both practical and stylish. Furthermore I love that Carve has made efforts to reduce the environmental impact (ex: using recycled polyester in production).

These are my favorite summer shortsThese are terrific shorts for any summer activity. I work at a summer camp and these are great because they are quick dry, like crazy quick, they have deep pockets, and they are super light-weight and cool. Even the lightest colors are not the slightest bit see-through, even when wet. I have 7 pairs of these. They are not just for water! They do run very large. I wear a size 4 in other Carve Designs shorts. I wear an xs in these. I do not wear and xs in any other Carve Designs bottoms.

Fun water shorts!Very pretty fabric and good fit. I initially ordered a small because while fit for my senior citizen years I don’t have a taut body but the ordering guide warned me to size down to xs with a “runs large” message so I did and was the right call! The fabric is very light and the waistband stitching stretches so my picture wouldn’t be flat tummy like the model, but I’m a go for joy grandma adventurer and like the shorts for my water sports!

Cute short - but no linerI bought these to go with a swim top that I couldn't find shorts for. So I took a gamble that the green in it would be a match. They are a flattering fit and a great short. Just now panty built in. I haven't worn it in the water yet - so I don't know if the legs will float up and expose me... so I may decide to wear a bikini bottom under. Only drawback for a swim short. I meant to hit 4 stars for this reason. Otherwise they are perfect.

Wonderful except the scratchy waist band.There is a lot that I love about these shorts. I love the soft, light weight, stretchy fabric. I love that it has pockets! I like that I can wear them to the beach or out walking. I like that I can tighten the waist with the drawstring. The only negative feature is the waistband is a bit scratchy, thus why I gave these 4 instead of 5 stars. It wasn't so bothersome that I can't wear them, just a design feature that needs to be improved.

Please make a high-wasted version!I LOVE these shorts, I bought two pairs. I love how light the material is. While I think they probably look marvelous on women with athletic or slender bodies, I'd really love to see a high-wasted version for us curvy girls. Don't get me wrong, you will NOT get a muffin top from these shorts, however, I still feel a high-waisted version with more fabric gathered at the waist would be a home run for every. woman. ever.

Decent but not excellentHonestly for the price I was expecting shorts that were less flimsy. Fit is good - I sized down one size from normal based on the reviews and they fit well, but my board shorts have always been a beefier weight of material. I love the fact that they are made of the coconut fiber, and have had some other great winter outerwear made of the same material, so I give them 4 stars instead of 3.
