Great Comfort and Arch Support[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first pair of Chacos, and I must say I'm impressed! They don't come out of the box ready to wear -- you need to spend some time tuning the straps to fit your foot, but once you dial in the right fit, you begin to understand why they are a thing. Surprisingly supportive and comfortable, especially for higher arches (like mine). I have a size 10.5-11 foot and found I size 10 to be the best fit, so they run a bit large. Great amphibious design that performs in water and on the trail -- all terrains covered in a single all-day shoe. Very happy to have these in my outdoor toolkit!

Cool sandals. I dig them. They are faithful, trustworthy, and comfortable.I bought these sandals for hiking around Israel. It’s pretty hot there this time of year and I wanted my feet to be comfortable. I wanted to feel the wind on my piggies. I packed my sandals in my suitcase, which did not arrive in Israel the same day I did. I walked around Israel in my old, worn, bargain priced gym shoes. My piggies were not happy. All they felt was sweat. Three days into my trip, there was a knock at my hotel door. My trusty, faithful sandals had found me. They had crossed the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean on their own. How do I know? I found traces of Atlantic salt, seaweed, and sand in the crevices. There were bruises, since healed, where they fought off sharks. We

Excellent Sandals[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time buyer for this brand. They are built much better than TEVA's. The front inner strap by the big toe on my last 2 pair of Teva's popped out, after the 3rd year of use, on both pairs. Always at the worst time too.. The Chaco brand manufactures the foot straps into the shoe as a complete strap so to speak. When you put them on, adjust your straps to fit your feet. They are very comfortable, hardly any break-in time, getting used to new sandals or shoes is normal. The straps are built tough but very comfortable. I can already tell the Chaco's will last for years.

They'll take you anywhere...I bought these sandals because my girlfriend had a pair and couldn't stop talking about them so I thought "I'll give them a shot!" Upon receiving them, I have gone through almost every terrain with them (sand, dirt, water, mud, and haven't tried snow yet...not sure if I will get to that)! The thick sole makes it a really great hiking sandal and they are super easy to throw on, take off, and adjust. I'm a size 10.5 and tried on an 11 and it was way too big and then tried on a 10 and I felt like a manly Cinderella! Make sure to order down if you are a half size. I wish I could wear them all the time but I think they are frowned upon in dental offices and weddings.

Summertime fun[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've ready a few reviews on here that say these are different/lower quality than the older Chacos. I haven't had that experience. It is true that the tightening straps are a little longer, but they haven't killed me yet! I take my dog for 4-6 mile walks in the woods with these things and have yet to incur one blister. The strap where my toe touches was a little rough at first but after a few dozen miles and some creek shenanigans I don't notice anymore.
This is my 5th pair of Chacos. My feet have a permanent Z-shaped tan on them from wearing these all summer.

so greatAlthough they took some getting use to, these are the best footwear ever. I got a pair, bu wasnt really feelin em for a while, then i went on a backpacking trip in europe and decided to give these a go. they were the only pair of shoes i packed for the whole trip. it was awesome. they have the support of a hiking boot, and the freedom of flip flops. i would recomend easing your way in to them, as youll need to develop some caluses around some of the straps...for me it was around the buckles. ,,but i have discovered that by owning these, i need not another pair of shoes. they are so versatile and sturdy!,,its a big investment for a pair of sandals..but all in all definately worthit

Best Sandal on the market! This is my second pair of Chacos and this pair is even more amazing than the first. That accomplishment is a feat in itself as I really didn't see many ways for Chaco to improve what was already the best sandal on the market. However, they've done just that! These sandals are so comfortable that they're the only thing I ever wear if at all possible. It just recently has been dropping down into the 20's, temperature wise, so I fear I'll have to shelf them for a little while. However, I wore them for everything from fly fishing in the local rivers to hiking to everyday wear around town. Not only are they lighter on the feet, you can also tell a difference when they're in a pack while you

Misleading information.I am not scheduled to receive these sandals until April 17. When I ordered them on April 5, late in the evening, the basket showed that they would be shipped on April 6, a Thursday. They were listed as "in stock."

After I completed my purchase, my confirmation info. showed that they sandals wouldn't be shipped until April 10, Monday. And I was to receive them on April 17.

I must say that I am a little disappointed in MJ for this. I shouldn't have been led to think that they would ship the next day. For most Internet orders I place, I "receive" the items in the amount of time it took MJ to "ship" it. And going by what the description showed, it appeared that it would b
