Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sandal Sucks that they are now made in China I have a pair of the Z/2's but with the more hefty sole and also that i ordered directly from Chaco/Wolvorine in MI. I love them.,,I found out YOU CAN STILL GET U.S. MADE CHACOS. get in contact with the Resole repair people at chaco and ask for a custom made pair, hand made in MI. It will cost you $30 more then the China made ones. I walk in them about 5 miles a day, many times more. the pair i got, seems like bad luck, the sole started coming unglued, i sent a picture to chaco, they said it was an issue with the glue and sent me a new pair within the week. I got the unglued pair sewed up for a couple bucks and now have two pairs, yay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I expected and more... These replaced a pair of the old style Z/2s with the smooth sole. These new ones are great! I wear a men's 10.5 and bought 10Ms and they fit even better than my old ones (with adjustment of course). The softer footbed is more comfortable and they are really stylish to boot (got the singletrack). The toe strap- some like, some hate- I feel like it makes my feet more secure in the sandal and reduces sliding. Gravel still gets in but no worse than my coworkers with Tevas or Keens. Make sure to clean them regularly and lube 'em up with Armor All to keep them in good shape. If you're having doubts because of price, try them out, you won't go back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sandals I've Ever Owned I have owned these sandals for about 5 years. They are without a doubt the most comfortable, durable and most supportive sandals I have ever owned. The internal strap adjustment system is very effective. It does take some time to get the straps adjusted to the correct settings, but once they are there, they will stay to where you want them without slipping in and out of comfort. The Vibram soles are very durable and don't wear as fast as the soles from other similar sandals that I've had in the past. When considering how long these sandals have lasted and the life that's still in them, there's no doubt in my mind that they are worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the few essentials It doesn't matter what I'm up to, if I'm not working, I bring these along. Even with my constant usage of these shoes, I have only owned two pairs in ten years. The strap near my toe finally began to wither away, so I got a new pair, and decided to try the toe loop out. Man oh man did that change the game. It is an absolute must. Some complain that it gives them a rash. That's what happens when you introduce fabric to an area not used to it. That's why innovation sometimes takes a while to catch on. It adds so much control and confidence. Hike in them, swim in them, run in them, live in them. Best shoes I've ever owned by a long shot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bottow line is they're stylish, practical, you can wear them anywhere, & they'll never wear out So I bought thse shoes for my boyfriend for graduation because his best friend has had the same shoes for like fve years and was always rantin and raving like a total lunatic about how great the are actually he's a really laid back guy and just one time told me they were great so I decided to look em up and here they were, these great sandals with great reviews and in my boyfriend's smokin orange favorite color how do you pass up a deal like that?! So I bought his the shoes, he's in love with them, put them on as soon as he opened the gift with a subsequent half hour or so trying to get them to fit 'just right' and he has hardly taken them off since!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must come with me on every outdoors adventure These are an essential for me on any outdoor adventure. Even if it is freezing cold. Gives support and traction like a hiking boot, with the comfort and ease of sandals. I chose the toe loop version because while swimming the non-toe loop Chaco flaps around in the water and I don't like that. My ONLY complaint is that the small black strap that hangs loose past the buckle is a bit long and can drag. Not a huge deal at all considering all the other pros of Chacos, but I know it didn't do this in the past. ,,,,I would still recommend this to anyone looking for a water shoe that can also be used for hiking, walking, climbing, camping, swimming, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Hiking Sandal In Existance I have 2 pairs of this sandal, one pair from right when Chaco was first born and made in Colorado with the Terrano sole, and one newer with the Unaweep sole. Both are great, and while the terrano sole being perfect for rough terrain, the unaweep doesn't disappoint! I have walked, hiked, backpacked, rode my bike, unicycle and have done various activities in these sandals and I cannot lodge a single complaint other than if you don't clean them they start to stink pretty bad! Personally, I would tell everyone that wants to use their sandals outdoors to go with the Z/2, if nothing else your toe will get used to it! It took me 3 days before I wouldn't do without it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit overhyped, but they'll still blow your other sandals away. Bought my first pair three years ago on sale. Wanted to throw them in a river after three days because they wore blisters on my big toe so bad! Note to newbs, fit the sandal to your feet and don't tighten the buckle for at least a week so the funk can cement the straps in place. ,,,,Wore them daily for two summers, then blew out the toe strap on one, with the other soon to follow. I can have them re-laced, but the soles have worn nearly smooth on bottom. For the cost of re-laceing and re-soleing both I might as well re-buy a new pair (which I did.) Great sandals, but I can't imagine them lasting 5+ years if worn regularly.
