The head opening is great too for those who forgot a pillow, however, it is nearly impossible to roll the sleeping bag and put them back into their sack! We had to buy larger bags that stretched because it was way too difficult, even for us adults. Its the only down side.

Can we combine two of these to make a double sleeping bag for two?

Hey there, thanks for your question. It's not really designed for that, but with a little bit of college ingenuity you could combine two into a double bag. This won't be the most high performance and effective double bag, there will be cold spots and some weird gaps, but for the most part it will accomplish what youre looking for. I hope this helps!
