Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain-Zilla I purchased the Rain-Zilla jacket for my very slim 9 y.o. son, to take with him to a week long stay at summer camp. I ordered the M (10-12) in the Grill color. This jacket was and remains to be the perfect light weight, waterproof jacket. The fleece lining covers waist up, not including the arms. The remainder of the jacket is still a substantial weight. The zipper is durable and we have had no trouble with it at all. My son has continued to wear this jacket into the fall and there is enough room that he will easily use for another spring, summer and fall. Thank you Columbia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pacific Northwest Must have THis jacket, light weight, durable and water proof has transformed my childrens viewpoint on playing outside, in the rain. With their waterproof shield on (jacket) they feel 100% confident that they will remain dry. THis is important to them for only one reason: When your playing outside and get wet, which is half of the fun, they instinctively know, that they will have to dry off, change clothes, etc before doing anything else, like playing the XBOX. Not having to put them in a bulky jacket, which I hear complaints often "it's too big", "it's too hot" is great!!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not exactly "fleece lined" I ordered two of these for twins. I think it is a little false advertising to call them "fleece lined" the only parts that are fleece lined are the chest area and the hood. The arms and whole stomach/lower back area are just raincoat. I'm probably going to keep them because return shipping is so much, but I really feel it should say "partially fleece lined". They both already have Columbia rain jackets (that don't get used much in Wyoming), so these were really meant for fall/spring when a winter coat is too much, but they need a jacket for wind. I'm not sure how warm this partial fleece will be.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Older version better... Bought this jacket for my two sons. I had bought one of these a few years back and it lasted my son until now, great for inbetween season with the bonus of it being waterproof. However I decided to return these jackets, the older version had a tab on the cuff, which made the cuff adjustable, which meant you could buy it oversized and it would still fit. The latest version have no adjustable cuff so our sleeves were too long. I like to get max time out of clothes and small features like this make all the difference meaning they can be worn larger to grow into.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems like a great coat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this coat seemed great but I ended up returning it because it wasn't what I was looking for. The fleece lining is very thin. I'd say this jacket is barely warmer than wearing a long sleeve tshirt. I was really looking for something for my kids to wear in about 40-55 degree weather. I was hoping it would at least be as heavy/thick as a sweatshirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this jacket because it’s not just a shell so it is a little warmer on cool mornings. The body of the jacket has a liner and the arms don’t, so it keeps a kid warm enough on a chilly morning without being too hot too wear on a summer day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain-Zilla [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coat at a good price. Boys and I went to splash in the mud puddles the other day and they stayed nice and dry. We live in MN, so the springs can be cold, the fleece lining in the hood is a nice touch. The fleece lining doesn't extend to the sleeves however.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT JACKET [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight with a thin lining for warmth. My son loves it, except for the pocket placement. It's not a deal breaker, but it would be nice if the pockets were placed at the sides so you could put your hands inside instead of being big pockets on the front.
