Product Reviews
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unhappy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my sons third Columbia coat. We loved the first two, both lasted several years and we continued to be loyal customers. This one however, is extremely disappointing. I’m not sure why the style has changed, we have always purchased the interchange jackets, however the two layers used to zip together making it one coat (along with the clips on the wrist and neck). Now, the coat only has the clips on the wrists and neck so every single time you take the coat off it unhooks or your child has to fumble to get their arm in the right spot. You also have to zip up two completely separate coats, which is very inconvenient for a child to do on their own. It has honestly been nothing but a mess, especially sending my child to school in this where the coat ends up messed up and he doesn’t know how to fix it. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but we have tried to make this coat work for a few weeks now and honestly I am extremely disappointed. I fear it will not last past this winter just out of frustration and we will have to purchase elsewhere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This "3-point Interchange System" lacked perhaps the most important feature: to actually connect the 2 pieces together. The inner fleece cannot be zipped into the shell, making it a cumbersome system for a kid to manager. The shell (if you want to call it that), felt like a t-shirt. Super thin. Again, not at all what we suspected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs changes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish the interface zipped to the outer jacket for easier on and off for younger kids

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kids' Tolt Track™ Stretch Interchange Jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is made well and fit very well. Purchased it for my kid to grow into it which is not to overly big but will grow with him for a year or two. The stretchy material in the hood is nice. We wise the inter jacket zipped into the outer jacket. With it not zipping in makes it hard for a little toddler to put the jacket on by themselves. It is very warm and made every well. We are happy with the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the fleece jackets so bought this. Has a great fleece that she can wear separately or together for extra wind protection and warmth. The outer will be a good rain jacket for spring. Perfect for the in between weather. Price was a little high but I think she will get a lot of use out of it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not an interchange jacket Every other interchange jacket we've bought (many) both jackets zip together. This one they don't, just the couple of loops to hold them together. It would be annoying for an adult and I'm not even going to try it for my son. Will be returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Versatile Coat But Needs Improvements [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since toddlers/kids can no longer wear puffy coats in car seats (for safety reasons), we were on the hunt for a good coat for our toddler that he could wear in the cold weather and was safe for his car seat. We love the 3-in-1 style coats but didn't realize until we got this in the mail that this coat doesn't zip together. And it's a bit odd that the inner fleece jacket is shorter than the outer jacket so we don't know how long the fleece part will fit our son. We did keep it because we couldn't find anything else out there like this (and the weather turned cold the day after we got this in the mail!). But it's unfortunate that the inner fleece jacket doesn't zip in to the outer jacket. So it's a bit of a pain to zip up two jackets on a squirmy preschooler (I'm sure his teachers don't like it either!). Also, we were hoping the outer jacket was a bit thicker. We will make sure to have our son in warm layers underneath when the weather gets really cold. There are some great positives to this coat that made us keep it. We purposely bought it big (we got a kids size XXS for our 3 year old) in hopes that he could wear it for at least a couple years. :) The sleeves are a tad long so we roll them up and they still function fine. We love that the hood is adjustable for when our son's wearing a hat underneath or when his head grows. We also love the water repellent technology in the outer layer. This will be great for snow in the winter and rain in the spring. We love the versatility of this coat and that it's safe to wear in car seats! We are long time fans of Columbia and will continue purchasing from this trusted brand. This coat just needs some improvements for next year. Keep making 3-in-1 coats for kids!
