Good for Florida Rain[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently moved back to Florida and my daughter needed a new rain jacket. This is the best weight I have found for the hot summer days and afternoon rains. We spent a week in Disney and used it almost every day, and it worked great. Even 3+ inches of rain in an hour.
Some of the negative reviews said that it was no better than a cheap rain poncho, but that is totally inaccurate. It is strong enough to hold up to amusement parks, but it is still comfortable for Florida heat.

Must have[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second time buying our daughters these jackets. They are a must have for getting out with little ones. They are light and not insulated so you can use them in the summer and have a fleece under in the spring or fall.
I can easily stuff these in the daypack and pull them out for the unexpected sprinkle during a hike. These jackets were excellent when we went camping. The girls stayed dry when they ran from the camper to the bathrooms and around the park. They do have their limitations with being on the light end of a rain jacket. If you have a rainier climate, you may need one of the other styles. We love these and the choice of bright colors!

Nearly waterproofFits well, very light and compact, I do wish it had a flap over the zipper, or waterproof zipper. That's where my daughter gets wet, soaking wet from of the shirt on heavy rains where it comes through the zipper.

Not waterproof! The rain jacket is really cute. Love the pink ice color. And in the rain, my daughter didn't get wet initially, but after 30mns she was soaked through. All of her clothes underneath were soaked through. So it depends on how long you plan to keep your kids in the rain. We were caught in the rain unexpectedly looking for a lost pet. For the price we paid I wished it was actually functional.

Rain Season in FLMy daughter absolutely loves this rain coat and it matches perfectly with her glitter Hunter rain boots. I love that it’s light weight so my daughter remains dry when it rains while not feeling hot during FL legendary humid days. I also like that I can fold it and put it in her bookbag without taking up too much space for those spare of the moment sun showers.
I ordered my daughter and XL even though she wears a 10/12 or Large. It’s perfect sizing in case she wants to wear a sweater or hoodie neither.

Great Basic Raincoat[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Columbia raincoat I’ve purchased for my daughter. It’s a perfect basic raincoat that you can easily layer under. It will continue to be our go to for years to come

Light weight[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here in the Northwest sometimes we have all seasons in one day. This jacket is perfect to layer over to keep dry. Its super light to have ready in a go bag.

Good jacket for light to medium rainy daysOrdered this for my daughter in size 6-6x. She’s 5 and the fit is good with some room to layer under or wear into next year. Color is pretty though it looks different than it did on my monitor— A little darker aqua than I expected but still a nice color. I wish the jacket included mesh lining like the one I got my son from another brand, but overall I like this raincoat for the price and for it’s intended use of splashing in puddles and playing in the rain without getting entirely soaked.
