The Columbia Men's Delta Ridge Down Jacket is a lightweight puffer jacket for everyday wear in the cold. A water-repellent exterior protects the down from light rain and snow, an Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining adds warmth without the bulk, and stitchless baffles prevent the insulation from shifting around and causing cold spots. Zippered pockets hold onto your phone-wallet-keys trio, and also give you a spot to stash your hands.

Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective

Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, good fit, comfortable, but..... Warm, good fit, comfortable, but a couple of dumb details ruin the appearance. When not zipped up all the way, the collar and lapels open to show shiny reflective material. When zipped up most of the way there's a 1" image that reads 650 with a feather under it. Why? Why would I want to show an image of a feather and 650? Why would I want silvery reflective material from the inside showing on the outside? I appreciate the warmth and comfort of this jacket, but these appearance issues bug me every time I put it on. I would not have bought the jacket if I had known about them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mens Tall Delta ridge [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket. Sturdy shell, great fit. I'm 6'7" and weigh 300 lbs and the 3XT fits perfect. Thanks Columbia for offering Big and Tall sizes. The pattern looks good without making one look like the Michelin man.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Lightweight Jacket, but.... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought three of these for myself and my grown son and daughter, all the hooded version. They live in Colorado and found the jacket to be quite comfortable and warm. I live in Florida but travel a lot. A recent trip to Pennsylvania gave me a chance to test the jacket to 11 degrees (zero windchill). Plus: I was actually comfortable in the cold weather wearing a Columbia fishing shirt and t-shirt underneath. Minus: there are no draw strings on the hood or the bottom of the jacket, allowing cold air to penetrate. Although the jacket kept my body warm, my hands were always cold in the pockets. Another annoying trait is the zipper constantly gets stuck from pulling the fabric into it (zips up, gets stuck on the way down). If I were to do it over again, I would opt for the non-hooded version as the hood is too loose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very warm bad design. Jacket is really warm. Pockets are HORRIBLY placed. Bothe the inside and outside pockets are at the same spot and both are right where you bend at the waste. So if you have a wallet and phone inside and outside for example that becomes VERY uncomfortable. Ruins the jacket IMO. Returned it sorry to say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Non-political alternative to Patagonia Nanopuff I wanted a non-political alternative to a Patagonia Nanopuff jacket, and this meets the need very well for a whole lot less money. I wear it daily and find it entirely warm enough for here in Southern California in mid-winter. If only it had a top pocket too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket for Fall I got this jacket for my husband and he loved it. The design, style, color, comfort and quality is pretty impressive. However, he is 5"7 and I got this one in regular and it is little long for him so might have to return it just because of it's length

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I look marvelous! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for a ridiculously low, no-brainer sale price and I love it. It's light, but warm... and light, but cool. I bought it in Dark Mountain (with red accents) to replace my last Dark Mountain liner that was part of a system that is too big on me after a few years. The Dark Mountain color changed a tiny bit (er, not as dark?) but it's a great jacket... very, very stowable. And I look great in it, that's kinda important, right?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lightweight Jacket I'm a big fan of this jacket. It's lightweight and incredibly warm. I'm originally from Wisconsin and have been in the Chicago area for years. This jacket is perfect for 40 degree (F) weather--and yes, it holds up very well in the teens, 20s, and 30s with a warm mid-layer beneath it. I was outside yesterday for 2 hours in windy, 20 degree weather with a Columbia Titanium mid-layer under this jacket and was perfectly warm. The jacket probably isn't going to cut it for weather getting colder than that, but for the review saying it doesn't hold up in 50 degree weather? Ridiculous--I wouldn't even wear it unless it was colder than 50. For sizing info: I'm 6'0" and 185 lbs. - athletic build. I recommend the large--which gives a little space to add a mid-layer underneath. I would say it runs slightly large.
