Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective

Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.

Columbia Omni-Wick

Columbia Omni-Wick
A moisture-wicking fabric for active pursuits in warm weather. It works to pull moisture away from the skin, then evaporates fast, so you remain dry for the rest of the adventure. It works just as hard as you do.

Columbia Omni-Tech

Columbia Omni-Tech
The waterproof, windproof and breathable technology for getting outdoors in wet and windy conditions. Your body heat escapes while rain can't come inside. Sorta magical, but mostly just science.

Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality but runs small Great quality but runs small. I have another version of this Omni-heat shirt (no zipper) and it’s held up great after many years (6 years maybe?) of use but they all seem to run small. I’m about 6’3” and 225 lbs. XL is usually my size but went with a XXL and it’s a lot more roomy in the midsection vs the XL but still a little snug abound the chest and arms which I like as it looks tapered. The thumb cut out is great and without it I think the sleeves would run a little short. But with the thumb holes it fits nicely and I’m not stretching it to fit when using the thumb holes. I plan on using this as a top layer with the non zip version in xl underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice thermal layer! I am on the pro-purchase program w/ Columbia & I love these new underlayers! I wore the set (top & bottom) all winter and spring and love the performance. It is thin, but warm due to the mirrored “dots” on the interior. It does fit close (athletic cut) which took some getting used to. I literally ice climbed, snow boarded, hiked and backpacked in these under layers and they were better than expected. Days used approximately 20.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Motorcyclists We motorcyclists buy a lot of very expensive gear to enable ourselves to ride year round. Well, the Columbia baselayer gear eliminates that nonsense. Some guys ride around looking like the Michelin Man or wearing their summer gear but freezing. This stuff is the answer. Now I'm sure other people have known this for years but this is my first time wearing baselayers. When I start out in the morning and it's 45 degrees out but later the temp rises to 85 degrees, I'm not that uncomfortable. That's hard to quantify and very hard to put a price on. Good stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and warm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear this daily on my bicycle commute to work in Stuttgart, Germany (25-35 deg, rainy, cold, some snow). Lightweight and warm with thumb holes, this base layer is perfect under a lightweight insulated jacket, which is under my waterproof, reflective cycling jacket. I think it's true to size and because I'm between L and XL, the XL is a perfect fit, only slightly loose on me (5'11, 200 lbs). Great piece of kit with multiple uses. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Great in the Sierras of California [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am new to the hiking / backpacking scene and I had the opportunity to put this shirt's technology through the paces. Did a one day snowshoe trek at mid 30s and a three day snow camp at Rock Creek Lake Bishop, CA where the temperature dipped to the teens. The shirt kept me fairly comfortable on it own in the mid to high 30's.. it is very comfortable against the skin and looks good. I love the shirt and I highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's made very well and does exactly what Columbia states. However, the cost doesn't warrant the garment . Its a shirt layer that has some thermal aspects. That's it. Oh, and it has a zipper to cool you off. I recommend this product at a much lower price level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice midweight layer The material feels soft, slick. It is very non-bulky, closely hugging your skin for insulation. It is great by itself or in a layering situation. Fits comfortably tight along torso/arms, arm and torso length is ideal. Able to tuck top into waist/pants if needed. Has monkey palms, which hide well for use as a regular sleeve. Partial zip, mock turtle neck that feels/looks more like a very short collar. You can feel the warmth as soon as you put it on. I just wore it outside as a 2nd layer: T shirt, this top, down vest, technical hoody. This top was made for layering!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Snug like a glove [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little to tight for a baselayer. I am thin and yet the baselayer is too tight. I would return it if it was not too much work out of a busy day. All other purchases prior to this were perfect for me and my family.
