Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.

Also, the clips flop around, maybe Columbia should consider tacking them a bit closer to the gloves. I will say, these gloves are good for 40 - 55 degree weather.

I got these gloves to match the Empire Crew Parka and sadly after swiping on my phone after opening the bag... the dots rubbed off of the fingers. They also did not keep my hands very warm while walking. Running is probably a different story.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and phone friendly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these about a month ago, and they have become my go-to gloves for cold weather running under 35ºF. I've run in temps down to 20º in these, and my hands have stayed warm and protected from the wind, while also being breathable. The e-tip finger has worked perfectly, so I haven't had to take my gloves off to start a fitness app, change a playlist, or snap a victory pic :) I also really like the reflective strip on the back of the hand to help be seen on early morning runs before the sun comes up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gloves Sent to Hawaii I purchased these gloves for my 94 year old father in Hawaii. My mother was telling me that my dad’s hands were always cold in the mornings. So I purchased these gloves and sent them directly to him. He was so happy to get them. He said they fit perfectly and kept his hands warm. He couldn’t stop talking about them, thank you Columbia!

They won't warm your hands up if they are already cold, but they will keep your warm hands from getting too cold. The quality is nice too. The stitching is tight and the clips are good quality.
