Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.
Columbia Turbodown
Columbia Turbodown is a hybrid insulation for bringing the heat to your next cold weather activity. Found in jackets and vests, the synthetic Omni-Heat™ Thermal insulation comes together with down to warm your upper half. The one-two punch allows for a lightweight piece that keeps heat in. Not only that, the interior is lined with Omni-Heat™ Reflective, sending your own body heat right back at you at the same time.

Fantastic Jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is lightweight and very warm. Love the hood and the cut of this jacket. I'm a solid medium in Columbia jackets and this one didn't disappoint in the fit. I'm 5'9" 155lbs. and the medium fits perfect. Packs up easy in pack or luggage. Just wrapping up winter here in NW CO and this worked perfectly all season. Didn't have to break out the big puffy once. Loses random feathers but nothing more than any other down jacket. Time will tell on the durability but everything seems fine after a long winter. My second Columbia jacket purchase this year. Very satisfied. If you're on the fence, buy it.

Lightweight and Warm[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Voodoo Falls jacket is barely heavier than the Mighty Lites but quite a bit warmer. Of course we had a very mild winter this past year so I didn't get to wear this often. I bought this to have an Omni-Heat jacket with a hood to help keep the head warm without a hat. This is my first jacket with a ripstop hood and I didn't realize how noisy it would be rubbing against my hair. After a half-hour of snow clearing I returned to the house and couldn't believe how much quieter it was with the hood down. Overall, this is a very nice jacket and hope I can use it more next winter.

Cognitive dissonanceIt literally took me a couple of weeks before I really believed this jacket was as warm as advertised. It's so thin that you won't believe it until you try it. I was comfortable at 20 degrees Fahrenheit in December in Chicago with only a good base layer and a t-shirt. Didn't even need a hat; the jacket's hood is also filled with the turbo down. I think I'd have been ok down to the mid teens.
I mean, you might need a few layers under this jacket in single digits and sub zero temps, but it is amazingly warm for its thickness and weight.
Good water resistance.
Only three pockets; could've maybe used one more.
I'm totally impressed with this jacket.

Very cold jacketHello, good morning, buy this jacket because in the specifications that come it says that it is for use in winter and has a very good quality insulation, it is a jacket that can only be used in autumn and not in winter, I went to Ruidoso, New Mexico USA , A place where it snowed, I was very cold with this jacket, I did not like the quality of the product, it has very little insulation down. In other words it is not what they promise to sell in the specifications of the product on the internet, I buy it because I said that the Omni-Heat ™ Reflective technology was the maximum in insulation and offered a performance product, I hope your answers, greetings!

Best Jacket I own![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the jacket I was a little concerned because it wasn't as thick as I originally thought it to be. I was pleasantly surprised how effective the TurboDown technology was and it's ability to insulate and keep you warm. It almost adapts to the ambient temperature and your body heat so that no matter what the temperature is, you are comfy and insulated properly. Not overly warm or too cold. It's perfect in the cold outdoors and even indoors (in an office)! Best part? It's ridiculously lightweight! It so good, I ended up purchasing two additional jackets with the same technology!

Very light, very warm!bought it for trip to China where the temperature can go as low as -25C. at first i wasn't sure it will be sufficient for such temperatures but boy was I wrong.
I spent a few hours outside in -15C with very strong winds, and nothing passed through it!
that said, it won't replace thermal wear underneath it.
the greatest thing about this coat is the range of temps at which you will feel great in it. you can use it at +15 as well as -15C and feel right at home. the lowest temp I used it in was -21C and it was great.
it is very light weight and fits almost in every bag.
the only problem with it is that it looses feathers from the first day. I have been using it for a month so I'm not sure if it will eventually stop.

The perfect winter jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon removing the jacket from the packaging, I was a little skeptical to how light and thin the jacket seemed to be. But after testing it out in MN's brutal sub zero degree temperature for a week, I am convinced that this is the perfect winter jacket. The jacket does run a hair bigger than most other brands I'm used to purchasing, however it works out well. It allows me to wear hoodies and sweaters underneath without feeling constricted. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, lightweight jacket that gets the job done.

Functional and attractive[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Voodoo Falls jacket is light weight but quite warm in cold temperatures. At the outset, I was concerned the light weight indicated it would not provide protection from low temperatures but was pleasantly surprised as to its heat retention and comfort. The zipper is easy to work and two outside pockets and inside open pocket provide plenty of space for personal items. I haven't used the hood but it should offer the same degree of protection under cold conditions as it is lined with down, as well. The jacket is attractive and fashionable as well as functional and I recommend the product.
What is the weight of the jacket and can it be stuffed into one of the pockets?

Great question! Unfortunately, the Men's Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown Hooded Jacket is NOT packable into its own pocket. The weight is 1.3 lbs (based on a size Large).
