Great rain jacket but runs smallMy 10-year old has this jacket in black, and it has done well and lasted him a couple of years so far. We decided to get this for our 2-year old as well. I like that it is a simple rain shell and that there’s room for layering underneath. I typically like to buy a size bigger since kids grow so fast. After reading all of the reviews that it runs small, I decided on a size 4T for my 2-year old (yes, two sizes larger), and I’m very glad I did. A size 3T would’ve lasted maybe one season. The arms are slightly long, but I am pleased with the overall fit and longevity he’ll get out of it. For reference, my kiddo weighs 30 lbs and is about 34.5” tall.

Great for rainy days[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This windbreaker works great for rainy days. It fits my 3 year old (just turned 3) well. The quality is there, but I feel like it runs just a little small. The arm and torso lengths are much shorter than all the other 3T jackets I’ve purchased. It’s kind of a bummer because it may only last him a couple of months. With the price (which isn’t terrible, but still up there for toddler windbreaker) I would’ve liked him to be able to wear it all year long... I’m thinking it may only last a few months. I would purchase again, just a size larger than what he is wearing at that time.

Great Lightweight Rainjacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for a trip to Europe so I wanted something that would protect my son from rain and wind but that was thin, that way we could layer his clothes underneath. My son is very comfortable in it, it will certainly be a staple item in the wardrobe. I’d recommend ordering a size up as it seems to run on the smaller side. My son is 21 months so I ordered a T3 for the purpose of extended usage and layering, the jacket is indeed a little big but it’s not huge on him.

Waterproof but really thinI bought this and I knew it didn't have a fleece or sherpa lining but I didn't direct it to be SO thin. It felt like it was just the outside layer with a hood and zipper. This would've worked if we had fleece jacket to wear underneath or fleece vest. By itself it would keep you dry in warm weather but nothing else. No interior layer or lining, it was so flat when I opened it and upon putting it on my toddler it felt just like plastic wrap, just crinkly and that's it. I was disappointed in how thin it was and will be looking at the rain zilla that has a lining of microfleece in it.

Great Shell[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reading other reviews, I believe the "Uses:Winter" in the description misleading to some. This is just a shell. A light, packable, waterproof, windproof shell. It looks great on the little guys, keeps them DRY and WARM in ALL SEASONS. If its cold, put this over a sweatshirt and it stops the wind, stops the rain, stops the WHINING. GO PLAY!

NOT a rain jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not waterproof. Water resistant, sure, but so is a cotton t-shirt to some degree. It soaked through after outside for only 5 minutes in a very light rain. I don't want to have to keep unzipping my kids jacket to see if they're dry. Call it what it is: a windbreaker.

Very thin. Not very useful for heavy and cold rainy wheather.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for rain jacket for cold and rain like Washington wheather, this may not be helpful product.
I had to buy another HH rain jacket for my child. And this went waste.
This might be ok for light rains. But not heavy rains.

Verify size before purchase[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for my soon to be 4 year old and my only complain is sizing. I found the jacket to be a bit small. I wish I would have gotten the boys XXS since the toddler is only going to fit him for a few months. Other than sizing, this is a great lightweight jacket. It has been great for Florida summers when showers are daily. I keep it at the bottom of his backpack and it doesn’t add bulk or weight.
