Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.
Columbia Omni-Tech
The waterproof, windproof and breathable technology for getting outdoors in wet and windy conditions. Your body heat escapes while rain can't come inside. Sorta magical, but mostly just science.

Sizing Debate Answered[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was debating whether or not to get a 1X or 2X after reading all of the reviews. I am 5'9'' and wear a size 16 and either XL or 1X. On the size chart I am in between a 1X and 2X for hips and 1X for waist. I went for the 2X and am very happy with my purchase. The waist is adjustable and also has belt loops so I can get a pretty custom fit. They are a little loose through the hips which is fine given that I'll wear leggings under them and I would prefer them a little loose than a little tight for outdoor activities. The quality is great and they are warm but not bulky. If you are in between sizes, I would order up.

Dawn NJI bought these ski pants after trying on a few other Brands that I tried on in stores. They are by far the most comfortable ski pants I've worn to this day, and I've been skiing for 30 years. The lining keeps you super warm, even with just a pair of leggings under them. No need for long underwear with the special lining! They fit true to size, I'm a size 6 in regular pants so I ordered a Medium and they are perfect. Just loose enough for a layer or 2 under them but tight enough to be very stylish. I am on the hippy side and the waist on these pants is perfect. They are definitely cut with a smaller waist in mind.

Not for the bottom-heavy[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually wear an 18 or 20 in pants. According to the size chart for this pant, a 2x should have been plenty roomy, but even the 3x was impossible. My thighs are a combination of muscular and just big, and I have a booty. Even in the 3x the legs were skin tight and the rise was too low for me - I could close the pants, but I had serious plumber's butt in them. So, I would not recommend them for anyone with bigger legs and booty.
The quality appeared to be very nice and I wanted to like them, but I need to be able to move in my sports clothes and these pants don't work for me.

Warm and LightweightI ordered the omni heat snow pant as I'm very happy with my omni heat jacket. I'm 5' tall and ordered the short, however, they're still too long but it's difficult to find petite snow pants without spending a lot of money. I don't ski so maybe the length is better if fitting them over ski boots. Over my Sorels, the outer leg still drags so I have to turn it up but the inner gaiter stays put over my boot. The adjustable waist is great and I don't have to wear bulky pants underneath for additional warmth yet they are light weight and not super bulky. The pockets are deep for ID, phone, gloves and keys.

Mediocre Snow Pant[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of the pants are typical to how I like my ski pants to look, I stay warm while skiing in them. However, I wish the pants had zipped vents or some other features. Just a very basic snow pant for the price. If you only ski a few times a year these pants will do the trick. I've noticed shredding and tears on the bottom of the pant leg from when I take off my skis. My ski edges have torn the fabric but I just slapped a patch on the area to reinforce and prevent more holes. Just okay pants, would not pay full price for them. They just haven't held up to the test with function and quality.

East coast skier[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded my 7year old ski pants (Columbia too) to these. I had to return the first pair for the hem seam not being sewn. The first pair were really big in the waist (had gaps at the adjustment areas) so when I was processing the exchange I was worried if I should go down a size or stay with the original. I stayed with the large. Two different kinds of fit, to my benefit. The replacement pair were smaller and fit perfectly. The exchange was super easy. Moving on, Omni-Tech water/wind proof has worked well for me in the old pants. This will be the first time with the Omni Heat lining.

Plus sized snow pants so frustrating![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so frustrated by plus sized snow pants sizing. I wear a 1x or 2x in Columbia shirts and comfortably fit into MANY different styles of plus sized Columbia pants but I bought the 3x snow pants to give myself some breathing room on the snowmobile and these pants aren’t even close to buttoning. Make the pants in the same manner as the rest of the sizing! These seem like they would be so freakin nice! I am so disappointed by the size. Give us big girls something to fit into!

Amazing[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants definitely keep you warm, tried them on for 2 minutes and felt like I was over heating inside. I will say that I’m pretty thin, I usually am an Xs in everything, I’m 5’3 and weigh 120 pounds my waist is about 22-23 inches so the pants were big on me, buuuut! The pants have interior Velcro to tighten on both sides, you just have to make sure you wear a belt or the material will stick out that isn’t sewed to the Velcro. The Velcro saved me from having to try a whole different brand, I really love Columbia’s products; especially the Omni-heat products, since I’m a Floridian from Miami and am a baby to the cold.
