Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective

Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.

Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket!!! I LOVE this jacket!!! It is so warm and light weight. Not bulky at all. Plus the unique pattern and color block looks very flattering on. I purchased both the black and plum and went with the pretty plum. I usually wear a size 12 so I got both the large and x-large to see which one fit me best. The Large fit fine if I were only going to wear a tee underneath. It was a snug fit, especially in the arm area. But in the cold weather I want to wear sweaters and layers under the jacket and the large would of been too tight to do that. So I went with the x-large so I'd have room for those sweaters :) This is a great jacket. Try it. You'll love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Haven’t tried it in super cold weather [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in California where it hasn’t gotten really cold yet but the moment I put this jacket on I was sweating so I’m hoping it will stay that warm in freezing and below temps. I partially bought this because it is waterproof as well as wind proof. I like my jackets a little big and I have broad shoulders and thicker arms. I tried a L, which is a size up from what I normally am and it was right. I tried an xl, and it would be fine without a sweater. I ended up getting a 1w, even though it’s about 3/4 inches too wide. With a sweater on it should be fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a medium, because that's what I always wear in a jacket, but it was a tad too tight for comfort so I called and I did the transaction exchange that way. I received the large size pretty quickly, and that fit perfect!! I love the thumb holes and the fact that it is lightweight, yet very warm! I had been shopping for jackets since last year and am so happy I found this. By the way, I am 5' 7" and weigh 130 pounds if this helps you with your sizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sizing - Grand Trek [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reading past reviews had me questioning sizing so I ordered both a SMALL and MEDIUM. I'd like to give feedback on fit to help others with their sizing decision. Height - 5'7" Weight - 125 lbs. Small chest Equal torso to leg proportion The SMALL was the best fit for me. Arm and jacket length were perfect and roomy enough to accommodate a few layers underneath. Photo shows the Small. I did not even need to try on the Medium to make my decision.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Arms are VERY long [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Columbia plus-sized coats are not really sized for plus sized women, as in, there‘s not enough hip room, so i’m usually stuck between sizes. (But i keep telling Columbia, and keep trying every year in hopes the’ve updated their plus-sized patterns). If i get a 1x it fits everywhere except the hips (and i just have to unzip from the bottom a bit. If i get a 2x, it fits the hips but it’s big all over everywhere else. Well the 2x in this style fits VERY large and the arms were WAY too long, like a TALL. other than that this is a great coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one I recently purchased in Black and liked it so well that I decided I needed one in the Wild Iris color. The Wild Iris is a beautiful color. I also like the Black really well. I love that it is down but also that it is waterproof and breathable for here in the damp Pacific Northwest. I would normally order 1x or 2x size, depending on the jacket fit, but they only had 3x at the time for each color so I went with those. They may be a little big but I am tall so it's okay. I just adjust the side drawstring tighter and I'm good to go. I really like the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used in Alaska [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own the heavenly jacket which is great but not waterproof. I planned a trip to Alaska for late September and needed a jacket. I wanted something similar in size, and function to the heavenly but waterproof. This jacket kept me both warm and dry on the trip. It's not a bulky, but I was still able to layer a cable knit sweater and a shirt with the jacket. I really like the thumb hole cuff, and zippered pockets. I was out in wind and rain. I also used the jacket while in town and also out on a bay. Because it wasn't bulky I was able to move around town without any trouble, and I was able to climb in and out the back of a float plane without feeling like a marshmallow. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and plan to use this jacket as my primary winter jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a waterproof down jacket! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the comfort and warmth of down but it is impossible to find a waterPROOF (not water resistant) down jacket. Living in Portland, Oregon it’s very important to have a warm coat that can withstand all the rain! This jacket is lightweight, low profile, and WARM as can be. I might be TOO warm in this jacket. The Heat Seal technology combined with the Omni-Heat is no joke. Regardless I am already loving this jacket and can’t wait to get some good use out of it this winter. And the purple color is the color of my dreams... an added plus. I fluctuate between M and L and have wide hips so sometimes coats can be hard to predict. I have a M Columbia jacket from last year that fit but was a little snug for my liking. I went for a large in this and I may have been ok with a medium but it might have been to snug as well, especially in the hips. I’m 5’3” and 160 pounds and the large seems to be a decent fit without being too restrictive.
