Columbia Omni-Grip

Columbia Omni-Grip
A rubber outsole for hiking shoes. Features multi-directional zones for grip and siping for wet ground situations.

Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective

Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.

Columbia Omni-Tech

Columbia Omni-Tech
The waterproof, windproof and breathable technology for getting outdoors in wet and windy conditions. Your body heat escapes while rain can't come inside. Sorta magical, but mostly just science.

Product Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs much too small! This issue needs to be fixed by the manufacturer! The boots themselves seem great but unfortunately I had to return them because they really do run small. I wish Columbia Sportswear would fix this issue and make them true to size. They were already too snug with regular socks, and if I wanted to put wool or thicker socks they really didn’t fit. I’m also giving this a lower rating because I don’t like how I am responsible for paying for return shipping of an item this is supposed to fit if I get it in my normal size. Very disappointing experience overall, even though I think the shoes themselves would have been great. Just make sure to get at least a half size up if not a whole size up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Comfortable Winter Boots [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a pair for over a year now, and I love them so so much! I constantly travel, and to rather cold environments. These are easy to go through TSA, are extremely comfortable on the plane and thereafter. My feet never hurt after a full 15 hours of wearing them and they are so warm and comfortable I don't want to take them off. They are so good, I just bought a pair for my sisters birthday. I do recommend that if you get the white colored boots to be ready to clean them thoroughly every now and then because they do stain ever so slightly if you're in a lot of mushy snow. Over all, comfortable and a great pair of winter boots!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would Recommend - Mostly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased these about a year ago now and they got me through a month of negative temperatures. Toes still got a bit chilly when I had to be out at -20°F and below for longer than 15 minutes, but they were great for the time it took to brush off my car and go. The biggest issue came during snowmelt, for some reason my left boot isn't waterproof around the toe, so my socks got a bit damp walking through puddles. I assume it's a factory defect/issue with a seam, as I can't see any damage. Will still continue to wear them in snow, just not puddles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter boot [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these boots for a winter trip to Iceland. They are very comfortable, not once did I feel like my feet needed a break or anything. I actually never thought twice about my feet, which is unusual but wonderful when there is so much else going on. They are also very warm and definitely waterproof. The only issue is that they don't have great traction--nearly wiped out on some ice (not that I expect boots to be as good as cleats, but other people could walk on the same ice with no problem). And definitely size up! I got a full size bigger than normal, based on other reviews, and they fit perfectly, even with wool socks. My feet are not very wide, though, so maybe even 1.5 sizes up if yours are.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Failed for waterproof and warmth I really liked the shape of these boots, and felt really warm at first. The design of the look makes the front of the shoe goes narrow and tight but I was ok with it. Today I went out after a snow storm, the air temperature was -11F. I stood outside with them for about 30 minutes and spent about 15 min to shovel the snow in the driveway. My feet went cold even the legging part were still warm. And when I took them off, my socks around toes area were wet. I put my hands inside of the shoe, the whole bottom was definitely affected by the snow, it was icy cold. I don’t think these are good for snowy weather, the bottom of the shoe seems too thin to resist the coldness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I found the perfect boot! I have been looking for the perfect winter boot and I found it! So far it has kept my feet warm and dry in conditions as cold as single digits. The boots is as comfortable as sneakers and feels great as I chase around after my kids. The traction is enough for walking in the snow but not enough on icy grounds. On icy days I just slip on my snowtrax over the boot. I tie the laces a little loose so I can easily slide my feet in and out of the boot on the go. I tie them tighter if I am wearing them walking through the snow or wet conditions. Most of all, I like the look. The boots are light and doesn't feel bulky. I wear a size 5.5, and the length and fit is perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't hold up to NE winter conditions I live in the northeast and invested in these boots because I thought they would be able to stand up to our long, cold, snowy, icy winters. Unfortunately, this was not the case. On my way to work one morning--having only worn the boots for about a month or so; they were still in very good condition--I had to trudge through an unplowed sidewalk with about 4" of snow crusted with a thin layer of ice. The ice pierced the top of the toe box on the right boot, and the resulting hole, though small, obviously means the boot is no longer waterproof at that spot. The company would not cover the boots because it wasn't a manufacturing defect. Perhaps not, but I would have expected the material on a winter boot to be able to withstand typical winter conditions. Something to consider before shelling out good money for a product that didn't even last a season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are the best I've ever owned! I live in Northern Illinois and winters can be brutal. These definitely stand up to the test of cold temperatures, deep snow, and rain. They're warm enough to wear with a thin sock. They take a little bit to break in, but once you do, they're incredibly comfortable. I had to purchase a full size larger than my normal shoe size, they do run small. They are easy to put on and lace up. Overall, a great boot!
