Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective
Columbia Omni-Heat Reflective is a technical fabric used to regulate temperature. When you see tiny silver dots lining your outer wear, think reflection because that's just what they're there for. They reflect your very own body heat back at you, retaining the warmth you're already generating. It is also breathable, so you won't overheat at the same time as well as wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry.
Responsible Down Standard
The Responsible Down Standard helps make sure the down and feathers used in your products are only taken from humanely treated animals. Consumers purchasing products with this certification can be ensured the ducks and geese are not subjected to unnecessary harm.

Just what I wanted[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this jacket for my trip to visit Christmas markets in Europe. After searching high and low in stores and online for a warm, mid thigh, waterproof, adjustable hood with inside security pocket and outside zip pockets...oh, and it had to be black and cute. This one fit the bill perfectly. I wore it the whole two weeks with every type of winter weather. I was warm and dry even in a pretty good rain, a little snow and some wind. I did have to unzip when it got over 40 degrees one day, but that was perfect. Plus the best thing, being plus size and 5'4 it was surprisingly figureflattering.

So WARM!!!! Great Jacket.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket. I don't handle being cold very well and Iowa Winters aren't great. Since I love my family and don't want leave them to move south, I figured a warm jacket might help solve all my problems. This jacket is warm without being super puffy and looking looking like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. It's just the right amount of warmth, fits great and is stylish. I'm 5'4" and 140 LBS and ordered a medium. I can wear a hooded sweatshirt and it still fits great. It is a little long on me but it keeps my butt from literally freezing off so it's perfect.

Very Nice[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this coat. I was looking for something longer, but not too long. This hits just above my knees. I am 5"2' and 130 pounds. I got a large and it was a little big. I did wash and dry to get it to shrink a little.
I love the cuffs and thumb holes. That was a deal breaker for me. The zipper seems a little cheap, so hopefully it lasts! Otherwise, I really like the coat so far. I have worn it in 30 degree weather and also 10 below zero with a wind chill. It has kept me warm and I have no complaints so far. I hate being cold and I am always cold, so I wanted something extremely warm and this has worked.

Lay D Down Mid[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the Women's Lay D Down Mid Jacket. I live in chilly MN. I like it however it is not as warm as I thought it was going to be. I bought a regular length Lay D Down several years ago and it is much thicker and warmer. I was disappointed that this new jacket I purchased was so much thinner. I am bummed about this. I will keep it and wear it this winter but sure wish it was as thick as my other one. I will probably wear extra layers underneath it when I go outside this winter. More layers than I normally wear which is several. Please keep in mind that I am always cold anyway so I think for most people it would be just fine. I was just hoping it was going to be as warm as my other coat that is not as long. But all in all I really love all of your products!!

LOVE this jacket.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Iowa, grew up in Minnesota, so I am used to cold weather. I want a coat to keep me warm, but not be too bulky. This jacket fits that perfectly.
As a teacher my daily duty is to stand outside every morning and direct busses, cars, walkers so all stay safe. That means I am outside every morning, no matter what the weather. I have stood out there in 20 degrees below zero windchills. This coat keeps me warm.
I love that the zipper comes way up and the neck extends high, keeps my neck and chin warm.
I have never purchased Columbia before, but I definitely will again in the future.
OH - and I LOVE the Color. I got Black Cherry.

Tight yet bulky?[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Somehow this coat seems to be both too big and too small, I have noticed this before for myself on some Columbia styles. The body of the coat is very light weight but two big in the body while the shoulders are too small restricting movement. The other problem for me is that the neckline one fully zipped hits right in the mouth so while walking the movement would make the zipper smack my face, not very comfortable. However the coat has the features as advertised and seems to be very light. Since I was on able to wear it outside I can’t speak to the warmth but it did feel warm when putting on in the house.

Perfect winter jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s waterproof. Warm as heck. Long to my knees on my 5’6” frame. True to fit. People say that it’s roomy in the shoulders and I would agree but I am large chested and I feel like that provides a lot of room so that the jacket actually zips over my chest unlike other XL coats. This coat is such an upgrade compared to the average down puffer one would find in the stores. It’s legit warm. I have to wait until I am out the door to put this on or else I’ll be sweating. And I am the person who is always cold. This isn’t the lightweight packable down jacket. It’s weighty and substantial but that’s what gets the job done. I wish I had bought a coat like this years ago.

Perfect winter coat[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am located in Ohio, and we can have some pretty harsh temps here. I recently purchased this coat for a trip to New York City, and it kept me warm the entire time! I love the length, as it isn't too long to make walking difficult, but keeps your butt and legs warm at the same time. I purchased the shorter model of this coat 3 years ago (which is still holding up just fine) I just wanted something to cover some of my legs. I would definitely recommend this coat to anyone.
