Not warm!It is not at all warm! The fabric is very permeable and the minute i step outside in it I can feel the cold creeping in. I've tried all sorts of underlayer combinations wool, silk, fleece, cashmere, and no matter what I do I still feel the cold permeating through. The temperatures are in the low 30's, high 20's light winds. Nothing extreme weatherwise. I could never wear this on a chairlift. Also it's snug in the hips. Curvy women don't ski? I had high hopes. My old Columbia parka lasted decades! I finally decided to donate it to a shelter because it was so warm and I was ready for something new.

Amazing quality!I just received this jacket in the mail and I am beyond happy with it. I have really broad shoulders so the XXL fit me wonderfully, I was even able to wear my work hoodie under it as well. I normally wear an L/XL in women’s hoodies. I highly suggest measuring yourself and looking at the size chart, it’s pretty accurate. I love how long it is, I’m about 5’5” and the jacket comes to my mid thighs. I was surprised as to how many pockets are in this jacket, perfect for when I need to run out to the store with no purse. Don’t be fooled by how thin it is, immediately when trying it on with a T-shirt I was already warm. Overall great!

Great in photos, not so great in realityI wish I'd listened to the other reviews but I let the good deal get me. I agree that the fabric feels very, very thin compared with other ski jackets I've had. I did not test it out in the cold because I returned immediately so it could hold up well. Additionally, the hood was a little too oversized and, when not up, it caused the top of the jacket zipper to pull/tug in and rubbed my chin and neck uncomfortably. It also ended up looking much longer on me than it did on the model. I love how many pockets there are. If the fit and material had been a bit better this could've been the perfect jacket!

Zipper brokenI got two jackets and both were very difficult to zip. Something seems off with the zipper design.

Nice quality jacketI took a chance on this even though there weren't very many reviews. The quality is great, strong zipper and nicely made. It fit well on my torso but was snug on my hips. I normally would wear a large and found that in a L here, I wouldn't be able to add anything but thin layers. For me, it wasn't very warm and I was testing it in a Florida cold snap (50-ish). Don't think it would work for this thin-blooded girl when we go up north in a few weeks. Very sad since I truly love the jacket but really needed something warm.

meh, returningI bought as a ski jacket because of the color (bold orange). I was looking for something bright. It is not very heavy. I think it would be good if you ski in 30-40, sunny conditions, but it is not warm enough for colder climates. I was surprised how light it was considering the price. Also, it was a little small through the hips compared to the rest of the jacket and I felt like it would be a little restrictive with multiple layers underneath. It's not nearly as nice as the other Columbia jackets I already own.

Great coat with very high neck lineThis coat has everything I was looking for for a snowboarding coat! Beautiful colored (I bought the spruce) with pockets in all the right places. Fits true to size, and is exactly the length I was looking for to just cover my bottom.
The only flaw I had with this coat is the fit of the neck line - whether zipped or unzipped the neck line is very high and uncomfortable. The height comes well above my nose and seemed as if it would continue to get in the way, and unfortunately for this reason I returned it.

Bright color, great fitGreat jacket. Slim profile but warm, and stylish and functional too. I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs, and a Small fits perfect.
