Rated 1 out of 5 by from Umm....Still Trying to Figure This One Out [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I passed this one up a couple of times on the website thinking it looked a little different, but after looking at the pictures a bit more I thought it might have potential as a functional jacket that could be cute. Buy was I wrong I tried it on and I am still trying to figure it out. Maybe it is my body type but it looked very odd. I outside jacket is extremely cropped and in no way could I wear it by itself. I appreciate that the inner jacket have no collar and can easily be worn with another jacket but by itself is too shiny and odd fitting for my taste. This is a definite pass for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Versatile [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for a trip to Iceland, and it worked really well. The outside jacket did keep me dry when it rained. The inside, longer jacket was warm, but very lightweight. I often wore them together. The look is a little different since one coat is long, but I actually was glad that it was beacause it kept me warmer. I jused the hood several times because of wind and rain, but it doesn't have a snap or tie to help keep it on (the only thing I would change). I bought the olive green color which I loved. The jacket combo easily packed into my luggage too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In love! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jacket for my wife, she’s going to visit Seattle in March. When the jacket arrived she tried it on and was disappointed because it was quite thin. The next day it snowed in AZ. The following day it hailed with rain. She tested it out and was surprised that she was not cold at all, nor was she wet. She loves her jacket now! She enjoys how light and moveable it is... A great gift from a husband to his wife!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awkward jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m bummed this coat doesn’t have comfortable pockets on the side to slip your hands into. They are vertical and positioned in front. This coat is supper big on me when a large is often too tight with this brand. I dislike the look of the first layer by itself. I wish the hood was attached to the first layer to make it look better. I haven’t used it in the rain yet to report on function. It does feel warm and cozy. May work for other body types as seen in picture. I’m 5’3”.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrilled [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first actual Columbia jacket. In 22 years, this is also the first waterproof jacket I’ve owned. I recently started planning more outdoor adventures and trips, so I figured I should invest in a practical jacket (but I’m still someone who cares about the style of things, and I was having trouble finding rain jackets that actually looked cute). To be honest, I’m thrilled with my choice. It’s been very cold and rainy in SC lately, and this is keeping me both warm and dry. AND it’s SUPER cute. I was worried the outer shell was going to be too cropped to wear on its own, but I’m on the shorter side so that hasn’t been a problem at all. I love how the outer shell is thin enough to wear in the spring and warmer seasons, but the inside insulated layer is very good at keeping warmth in while not feeling bulky. I’m 5’3” and 130 lbs and I got a medium. I wanted to have room for layering since I wear a lot of sweaters, and the medium is proving to be excellent for that. The only faults are that 1) the pockets on the outer shell snap instead of zipping, so I don’t know how dry it’ll keep my belongings and 2) I wish the hood were a little longer, and the inside of it is pretty slippery, so it doesn’t always stay on my head the way I’d like it to. If those two things were fixed, it would be absolutely perfect. All in all, a very stylish design and a good choice for a versatile jacket for warmth & dryness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile! So Cool! Quirky & Fun Enough For Me! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love, love, love, love, this jacket! I bought the XL which was just right in my other Columbia Jacket, but in this jacket I think I could have bought L, but it is OK for me, because I don't want a coat to be too small to wear a sweatshirt hoodie underneath! It was on the warm side the first night wore it so only wore the outer jacket BUT before I got home the temperature dropped, it sleeted, hailed, snowed and rain buckets all at once and I did not get wet or cold on a fairly long trek back to the parking lot. Happy! The lining does hang down quite a lot in the back, but it is funky that way and makes it unique! Haven't worn it with both pieces together yet, but I believe it will do the job of being warm and dry with a laid back, style too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight, but effective jacket Surprisingly lightweight but very effective against the brutal Minnesota winter weather. I only wish the pockets were positioned that my hands could go in them but other than that I am very satisfied

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fixing my problem [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two years ago I bought a 3 in 1 Columbia jacket. Unfortunately, someone stole the inner jacket last year so I’ve been looking for a replacement. This is the replacement I was looking for. I have to say that the inner jacket looks silly hanging below the outside jacket. The good news is that the inner jacket fits inside my old outer jacket which I love. I’ll use the new outer jacket by itself. It’s a good answer for my unique problem.
