A moisture-wicking fabric for active pursuits in warm weather. It works to pull moisture away from the skin, then evaporates fast, so you remain dry for the rest of the adventure. It works just as hard as you do.
A fabric technology for the days when the sun is out and sitting inside the house isn't an option. Stay outdoors, but protected with a fabric that blocks Ultraviolet A and B rays (UVA & UVB). Prevents sunburn, without the icky sunscreen application.

Hiking pants[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with the quality and fit of these pants. I bought a size 14 but could have worn a 12. Much to my surprise there is a convienent adjustment at the back of the waist. The waist adjustment solved the problem of being slightly too large and I have plenty of ease in the legs for hiking. I like the button hole front closure better than snaps that some Columbia pants have. These pants are nice and light weight for summer yet stay warm enough when there's a slight chill in the air. I will definitely get many miles out of these hiking pants.

Great Pants![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are very comfortable and awesome for hiking. Have worn them once for a hike in Northern California, was a warm day and a steep climb so I was sweating buckets up top but my legs were nice and cool with the fabric and the vent pockets. I sized up, normally a 4/6 but I bought an 8, I definitely could have gone with a 6 but already wore so couldn't return. I happened to read another reviewer's comment about the strap in the waistband and it was revolutionary- the waist fits so much better and I like the extra leg room for hiking. For reference I am 5'3, 130 pounds, I got the 8 regular because I like my pants a little long.

Awesome![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a size up based on previous reviews and they fit perfect. I wanted a looser fit that I could easily squat down in (this material doesn't stretch). I normally wear size 4 to 6 and I ordered an 8 short (I'm 5'1, 125lbs). I probably could have got away with the regular length if worn with hiking boots. The waistband is almost a little snug but then they are baggy in the hips and legs. Perfect for being in the heat and brush. I was happy that the material was lighter/thinner than expected. But still tough and can handle hiking through brush.

Runs extremely small![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read the reviews and decided to order 2 sizes up from my normal size. When I tried them on, they were very tight and barely buttoned! I have other Columbia hiking pants in my normal size, so I don’t know why these ones in particular run so small. I’m sad that they didn’t work out. I will be returning these because they just don’t fit. I would probably have to order 4 sizes up if I want them to fit. At that point I’d rather just find a different pant.

Not quite right for meI really wanted to love these, but they just didn’t sit right on my waist and were a little slim in the thigh making me think they might chafe on long walks. Note: I’m 5’3”; 125 with athletic musculature, but small hip to waist ratio- like a stick. Pros: great fabric, love the quantity & size of pockets, & that adjustable waistband should be in every pants! Cons: knee pocket fell right at my knee making it almost useless, the rise was just a bit too short which made the gusset too close for comfort.

Ordered wrong sizes and strange pocket placementThe reviews on these pants suggested they ran small, so I ordered a size 6 and 8. I'm usually a size 4. The size 6 was too big so I'll have to return both sizes. I suggest ordering your size and a size up if you're worried.
The hip pockets aren't zippered which is a bummer. There is another pocket on the side of the thigh, but if I put my phone in it then my phone rests at my knee area, which is annoying and strange. I wish this pocket was higher up on the pant.
These pants are light weight though, which is one up side to them.

Absolutely LOVE these pants!![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’s so many things I like about these pants. Lightweight, coolfit, zipper pockets, the versatility of rolling into capris. Super pants for working in the garden, hiking, etc. If you normally wear your pants fitted you may need to go up a size as they are slightly more fitted than what I normally wear. I wear my clothes not baggy but not snug so these fit slightly more snug than my regular clothes. I kept the same size I normally wear in a 10. I love these so much I went back and ordered two more pair!

Good fit, great functional pockets[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits similar to the Saturday trail II, perhaps an inch longer in leg. Zipper to one of the back pockets is a wonderful detail along with the zippered leg pocket. Plenty of stretch for those high rock climbs.
