Product Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Odd sizing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased another of your jackets in an XL, but returned it because it was huge & heavier than I wanted. This South Canyon jacket seemed to be more the correct weight & I ordered it in an XL, too so I could layer under it. Well, the jacket is absolutely beautiful, but this XL is too tight in the shoulders, arms & chest. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come in a larger size. Very difficult to be motivated to try any more Columbia products with this inconsistent sizing. If it fits, you will probably love this jacket for cool spring & cool fall weather. That’s what I wanted it for. ☹️ Sad old Linda!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for rainy winters [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved from Colorado (think lots of snow) to Oregon (think lots of rain) this year and all my winter outerwear was WAY too warm. I wanted a winter raincoat and selected this one. I am a big fan! It is warm (without making me hot), waterproof, a great length (covers my butt), and my favorite color (army green)! I would recommend this coat to anyone facing rainy winters. It runs true to size but I can still easily wear a bulky sweater underneath. The waist cinches in to give you some definition and curves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter coat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in North Dakota and the winters get pretty chilly. This coat has been great at keeping me warm, and I love the Sherpa lining. That way on the rare occasion I do wear the coat without a sweater it seems instantly warm unlike other coats. I went a size up just because I tend to wear so many layers but the medium would fit perfectly if I didn’t keep so many layers on me during the winter. Would definitely recommend this coat to anyone looking.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been watching this jacket online for months, and finally made my purchase. It’s a nice jacket but unless you’re a size 0 like the model it will not look the same on. I’m a size 8, I bought a large and it fits perfectly however very bulky in the chest. Not very flattering on. As far as warmth goes, you’re still having to wear layers, don’t take this jacket anywhere colder than Oregon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tried to like it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really did try to like this one. I am forced to return this because though in pics it appears to be a comfy fit, in reality, I felt quite puffed up and restricted, simultaneously. I liked the fabric description and color (camel brown) but when it came down to the actual wearing bit, it simply didn’t look or fit right, sort of like it appeared to be loose but in fact I felt like I couldn’t move my various body parts with ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Winter Jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a black Sherpa lined winter jacket for a while now and came across this Columbia jacket and was thrilled to have found the perfect coat! It's longer which I love, the Sherpa lining keeps me super warm and like anything Columbia it's great quality and I think this coat will last me several winters. I like that it doesn't feel too bulky but I can still comfortably wear layers with it. My only qualm is that the fit right by the arm pit seems a little odd but it's definitely not a deal breaker, I would still recommend this jacket to anyone looking!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and warm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice and warm and runs true to size. My one hang-up about this jacket is that the pockets on the chest make the bust look funny. It makes you look rather chesty because of the way the pockets add dimension. That sounds like it’d be nice but it just makes the jacket look bulky up top, rather than sleek. Aside from this, it does the job just fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice, but bulky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this jacket is very nice and warm and waterproof which is great for commuting, however, the sherpa lining in the hood makes it so bulky that it's very uncomfortable to wear a backpack at the same time as this jacket. it could have done without the lining there. the fit is much nicer than previous seasons of insulated shells though. the arms are nice and snug and the drawstring waist is perfect
