Just waterproof plastic[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no mesh inside, so it's like wearing a plastic bag. Not very comfortable to me, unless I'm wearing a long sleeved shirt underneath. Also, I ordered the red orchid color and was sent a deep medium pink color instead. Fit was fine, Columbia products generally fit me well. I liked that the hood could be tucked in when not in use, and it was indeed easy to pack into one of the hip pockets.
I ended up returning the jacket due to the inaccurate color and general lack of contentment over the feel. It wasn't very comfortable when I tried it on because of the material.

Nice rain jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket in Lagoon. It is even prettier than online. It does great keeping water off you. It fits pretty true to size. I ordered a size up bc I read many reviews stating how tight the arms were. I have very large arms so went with a size up. It was not necessary. My arms have plenty room. Will be good for winter when want to wear sweatshirt under it I guess. My only complaint is the hood. I’m not a fan of how it looks if not in use but I also don’t want to cram it back into the pocket when not using. If that’s the worst thing with it I think that’s pretty good.

Great value when on sale, but packable feature needs a tweak[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when on sale for $20. I bought a small, which Columbia sizes usually runs bigger than other stores. I wanted a slightly roomier fit but the small was a fitted fit (I am 5’2”, 117 lbs, petite/athletic). I would say size up if you’re used to having your Columbia gear a little looser (for layers underneath).
The quality is great! My only issue is that the pockets are a bit small, so when turning it inside out to “pack” your jacket inside, you have to be careful because it’s a tight fit and you may ruin the zipper by pushing too hard.

Well made lightweight rain jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a well made light weight/unlined rain jacket. I was looking for a packable rain jacket for warm days that have some rain or winds. My only "not 100% satisfied" is that the "Red Orchid" is less red than I expected and more dark pink. I usually order 1X in shirts and 2X in jackets if I want to layer (I want to layer), but based on reviews of it being small, I ordered a 3X. In WA that will be great for lots of layers, on tropical travels over t-shirts- it will be very big! I'm a 42B, 18-20 in most clothes (sometimes a 22 pant depending on brand). In pictures I compared it to my son's Columbia red rain coat and I'm wearing a fleece hoodie and t-shirt under the jacket.

Not waterproof :([This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to purchase this coat! Light weight shell for layering, and flattering fit with the promise of 'waterproof'. I wore it once hiking on a typical PNW rainy day. Within 30 min I was soaked through to my layering sweatshirt! Needless to say I was pretty bummed. I'm still a Columbia fan, but wouldn't recommend this coat as a waterproof layer.

AMAZING[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely my favorite jacket EVER! It is great in all types of weather - I live in New England, so we get it all! I wear it for all my outdoor activities all year round, by itself and layered with other jackets. It truly is the perfect addition to any closet. I'm always cold 24/7 so this jacket goes everywhere with me. I LOVE the stow-away hood and that it packs up into the pocket. When the zipper broke off of the packing pocket, I sent it back and they gave me a credit to order a new one. I can't live without this jacket!

Description not accurateThis is a very handsome, lightweight jacket. However, as noted in other reviews, there in no mesh lining as advertised! I imagine the plastic like material that would be against your arms would make you sweat unless you had on long sleeves. I will keep it because I think it will be used but am disappointed that Columbia advertises a mesh lining that is not present except as 2 inside pockets.

No Mesh[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is not mesh lined like the description says. I am returning the item as I live in a humid environment and want the mesh lining to keep the coat to sticking to me. I reported this to Columbia over a week ago and they have not changed the description. I
